That is one of her few tactics defects, refuses to provide proof but demands it from others, and acts as if she speaks for all the dks and says I know this forum no one wants(dispite people saying they want it in the thread), and then when backed into the corner either moves goal post or reports you with all their chars as being troll or inappropriate post trying to get you suspended and your post removed. Why would the player be entitled to a Frostmourne transmog (which isn’t currently equipable in any capacity) after earning the Shadowmourne weapon?
I would 100% agree to Shadowmourne be limited to DKs, as the Warglaives are limited to DH if it wasn’t already transmoggable to those who have earnt it already. Asking for Frostmourne as a reward for Shadowmourne is quite self-defeating as this would not likely become a solution.
While Frostmourne itself is destroyed, I would rather a DK-limited quest that involved some kind of a jump to an alternate Icecrown to obtain and dispel Frostmoune, and then allow it to transmog for DK only.

Were they going to give it to the playerbase and took it away to “screw over” 2h players?

They didnt rob you of anything.
It suggests that the spec has been DW (admitted to by the people who created the death knight, was responsible for its design and its balance, that said Frost was “dual wieldy”) so they used Frostmourne to give it a burial to show that its story is finished (which is also corroborated with the book about the artifact weapons) and to create a new set of weapons for a spec that is a DW spec.
You have absolutely no evidence that you were robbed, you have no evidence that they were originally going to give the weapon to players, you have nothing other than an updated model to be used in the Legion scenario.

The why of it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that they made a new Frostmourne and didn’t give it to us – nor did they use it anywhere in the entire game, except for the Frost DK artifact questline.

So why was Arthas the Lich King’s model not updated for the 9.2 cutscenes and the Anduin Fight? It sure looked out of place with it’s WotLK qality model. Quite inconsistent if you ask me.
Because Shadowmourne isn’t a DK weapon. Paladin and Warrior can also use and transmog it.
Demon Hunters got to use their most iconic blades. Why should DKs be denied their most iconic blade?
It’d be nice for DKs to get something unique. They’ve had their unique hair colours given to other classes because reasons. DKs don’t even have unique VAs or voicelines while DHs do.

Indeed. So why shouldn’t DKs get their iconic weapon? Because it was broken? A broken sword can be fixed. Just break those toothpicks we were given and reforge Frostmourne. There doesn’t have to be a lore-reason for it, nor does it need to be canon. For crying out loud, the paladins came to us to help them corrupt Ashbringer again in their hidden appearance questline in Legion. Is that canon? No. But now paladins get to walk around with the corrupted Ashbringer anyway.
And you’ll note of you had even read my post, I’m not denying you Frostmourne as stated:
DH earning their warglaives by way of looting said items, and then competing the encounter on the DH character does not equal the nonsense idea of DK receiving Frostmourne by completing the Shadowmourne questline.
Despite this, Frostmourne was very publicly shattered at the end of the Lich King encounter back in Wrath, and then utilised in the DK campaign in Legion. How is this possible if the player was rewarded Frostmourne?
And this could work as aDK only quest. Far better than the ridiculous solution of rewarding from a questline from Wrath.
Don’t even need to fix it. Just say someone in Ebon Hold or a bonesmith/Primus from Maldrax come up with a cosmetic illusion spell that adds the appearance to our collection.
I think his point is that Kelliste’s implication that broken weapons can never be repaired is categorically wrong. We witnessed it happen with Frostmourne.
