Why wouldnt they? The devs absolutely knew Frost is a DW spec, it makes no sense to just change it for no reason.
Again. Massive reality bending magic at our command, and a simple illusion scroll of a well known weapon is somehow beyond everyone on the planet.

Just rewatched that. Never noticed it the first time around but it is strange they did it like that. The first single weapon has the hilt of Frostmourne, but the blade looks more blue and icey, like the blades on the Fallen Prince weapons we got. Makes me wonder now. Figured they always just did it because they decided it needed something different in one of the specs, and Frost did have the off hand talent.
Edit: Just hopped into classic Wrath and the Frostmourne there is definitely different then the single blade shown during the forging. Similar, but different.

Again, people want the weapon. They want it in their inventory. Ive already been through all this with this community. Its give us the weapon and thats the only option. There is no middle ground. Its we complain until we get it.
This entire thread is about getting a TRANSMOG!!! Not the actual sword. The fact that you keep trying to play it off as otherwise despite being told just that multiple times now shows you’re not actually interesting in anything other then crapping over people who like a 2 hand playstyle.

What I am trying to say is they would of never went to the effort in the first place if they intended duel from the start, why jump through all those hoops with the animation/hd modeling for a 10 second animation at the end of a short scenarion where the blade clearly is fixing itself, just to do a cop out with dinky 1h swords?
imo they should just add it as a cosmetic as I said for transmog, it finally end this endless complaing since wrath.
And add Remornia, such a good looking weapon gone to waste…really wish we got more Zweihanders.

So if you have to get the item what the hell is the point of your post?
I mean the end goal is to just have it unlocked for transmog so either or could work, the former would most likely work better.

One of them is merely the button to give you the appearance.
It is not Actually Frostmourne. The other IS ACTUALLY Frostmourne.
It is like a Plastic Replica of Excalibur VS ACTUALLY HOLDING Excalibur.
They LOOK the same. They are not FUNCTIONALLY the same.

Yes, some of us do like the two hand play style and, with the exception of Legion when it was forced on us, have been playing it as such from the launch of Wrath. You obviously have a hate on for even the concept of two handers, so why do you feel the need to come into a thread just about them to act completely stupid about what’s being asked for.
A cosmetic item of a sword, is not the same as that sword. The fact that you miss that point constantly is pretty well proving that your being intentionally obtuse.

Wrath to WoD 2h was bad. The split spec kept frost in the gutter and whenever they removed that slow clunky inefficient weapon things got SO much better for the spec overall. Its constantly behind, always needing something else to prop it up never really reaching to where it needs to be.
And no I dont have a hate on for two handed weapons, they should just be used in the specs that was designed with wielding a 2h weapon. It has absolutely nothing to do with your precious 2h weapon being cool, it has everything to do with 2h being garbage design for frost.

they are all cosmetic items. But again, explain why when I suggested something cosmetic I was told to go to hell because they wanted to have the actual weapon BECAUSE THEY FEEL LIKE THEY WERE ROBBED AND SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN FROSTMOURNE IN THE FIRST PLACE? Huh? So no, I know exactly what this community wants because I went through it already. We all did so these frostmourne threads are pointless. Frostmourne is done and gone, and you toxic people going around calling people brain dead and stupid shouldnt get a single thing.
