Accounts are not generally penalized from reports alone and the appeal process absolutely does initiate an investigation to verify if the original penalty was valid or not.

As noted by several others, Vixenviola, we really don’t have “Auto Bans”. We definitely have systems in place that can take some actions semi-automatically. There also have been a lot of advances in technologies that really help our staff address various social and exploitative violations, and we aren’t adverse to exploring those to help better improve the gaming environment.

No, there really isn’t. We do have some systems in place that do take some actions automatically, but they aren’t really what you are referring to and have zero to do with this action, which was applied manually after an investigation.

There’s no such things as auto bans. A real person, a GM, looks and investigates before every single ban is applied.
