Friendly Player Base

Oh yeah, level 69 is fine. You do need to start the campaign for the war within at 70 thought so it wouldnt last very long.

Hehe thanks. Will do. But yep as mentioned this is just a posting character. My current main is a warlock.

Oh, sweet! I play Demo on my Lock. I heard they reworked Aff and I’m slowly learning Destro.

Oh I have my exp locked. I did some experimenting and found that 70 is when you’re forced out of Chromie Time, but at 69 as long as I keep abandoning the TWW starting quest I can move in and out of CT. Doing that for Brewfest and the older dungeons/raids.

Destro is my absolute favorite.

It’s weird to see someone enjoying the game (on the forums). enjoy yourself.

Thanks, I’m trying.

Got a little project of sorts going at the moment in-game, involves some downtime, why I’m the forums atm.

Warlocks are in a terrific place right now. They’re awesome for solo content.

What am i assuming?

Destro warlock just seemed like an edgier, more solo-friendly mage. Figured it was the right move to switch. xD

I play demo lock and my health literally never drops even if I pull groups of mobs. I things all 3 lock specs are good right now.

I’m currently maining Survival Hunter atm I like the way it feels harpooning across the battlefield to bomb the living hell out of an enemy.

If you are looking for a friendly player base… sadly WoW isn’t the game for you. At best, you’ll group with some RPers who probably won’t treat you like a pile of human garbage who’s only purpose is to emphasize how much better they are. That being said, some RPers can get a little cringe.

M+ groups are HIGHLY toxic and entirely focused on optimizing the best routes, inviting the best players / current meta, and if you deviate from their pre-defined concepts of perfection… well… you experienced what happens.

That being said, the tank dictates the route and pulls. It is their job to control the flow of the dungeon despite what DPS seem to think. Follow your tank and attack only what they pull - that will get you by most of the time.

If you are looking for a better / friendlier player base, I’d recommend FFXIV. Join an RP server (you don’t have to RP), and you’ll find that most of your groups are friendly and will actively attack people who are being dbags.

Feels like the only time my health goes down is if I leave Burning Rush on too long, haha. But yep I’ve found a great rhythm questing and killing as a destrolock I think. Read up on the Hellcaller class and that’s going to fit extremely well with the playstyle too so I’m looking forward to that.

Aff and Demo both seem pretty appealing too, might give those a try at some point. I think I just like the theme of Destro more atm.

I mained destro lock for years so I needed some change lol. Went with demo cause it’s cool to see all my imps spawn. I main hunter now though because it’s seriously the easiest solo playstyle and I love collecting pets lol.m

This one is my forum character. My main hunter is already level 80.

Hunters are pretty awesome. Was considering rolling one after I fill up the mog wardrobe a bit more. Mail is kind of a tough class for the transmog world. Need some of those modern cosmetic sets from the later expansions, just haven’t really done much in the way of those yet. Missing basically all of SL and DF.

There are some cool transmogs for mail but from old content.

I loved hunter for years but finally I couldnt take it anymore. They have like 6 or more tier sets inspired by fish and I just think thats so horrible.

Honestly I like a lot of the mail pieces especially from the recent hunter sets.
