Why should other players bend over backwards to accomodate your “little time to play”?
Is it worth more than theirs?
Did a +2 dawnbreaker last night, tank said “I can’t figure out where to go after the ship” before the key started and we all jumped in with an explanation and offered to ping for him. It’s not all bad
We definitely need more of that in this community.
bro is your blood pressure ok talking about this
If you let others get to you like this in an online game, you simply aren’t able to ignore people.
So yes, don’t do + keys. Do World Quests.
lmao that’s so special. ‘i know you said you thought toxicity was a problem, but i think the problem is you and you should just do something else’ like wow you just don’t understand
Pug life is thug life , either you deal with it or join a carebear guilds
LMAO.
Delusions of grandeur.
It’s controversial to want people to not be dbags?
Pugs are cancer. Better to find a guild of like-minded players to form static groups with than put up with pugging content. Maybe if all the Tanks stop pugging people will learn, though I doubt it.
Try follower dungeons. They are perfect for your situation. That’s what I do. They are just as much fun and you never get kicked by the NPCs.
Start your own groups, put “chill” in the title, kick and ignore anyone who acts like that healer did.
And when it’s not bad, it’s pretty awesome.
I was in a grp where the tank kept dying. Just bad pulls, LOS on healer, all the bad stuff. They quit the group. The remaining 4 members seemed to bond over it and suddenly became supportive of the healer who was feeling pressure, for sure.
At the end of the run the healer got some pats on the back and everyone left having a positive experience.
Was nice.
The thing is, you don’t /need/ perfect pathing to clear a follower dungeon. There is no feedback on what a good or bad path is. An okay path is going to feel just fine.
We haven’t even established that this healer even knew a better path, just that they got annoyed by the one taken. For all we know of the situation, that healer might have normally been running with a friend who usually takes their own personal idea on the right way.
" Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference." - Robert Frost.
…all he did was ask which route was best lmao
ur gonna pay someone to show you route?
Honestly, I can’t help feeling like FF14 has the right idea given how toxic WoW players can be. No dungeon pathing, you get one path, everything has to be cleared.
They even handle it with a much cleaner progression for more difficult content there, you can make or join a learning party (Optional intermediate steps where the party maker usually puts something like “Have seen up to phase X”), and it’ll usually fill pretty quickly, then once you’ve figured out that, you can join a clear party, then once you’ve cleared you can join a farm party, and very rarely does someone actually turn toxic.
It’s a much nicer pipeline than what I tend to the constant abusive and ragequit filled cesspool that PUGs seem to have.
consider watching some videos/guides before trying to use 4 random people’s time to teach you? idk it work both ways.
it’s one person’s time instead of 5… good value!
if i’m a lust class i watch vidyas to figure out the good lust spots, i dont wait till ppl yell at me
if i was to be a tank id surely watch some routes before i throw myself into them.
*dont stress about m0, it’s a short phase.
That ruins the mystery of discovering things though. Blind runs are always the best. You can laugh at the mess ups and learn from them. Eventually people will learn the best routes but it is not really a big deal. One reason I dislike mythic + so much I guess. In a mythic 0 who cares what way you take? It does not matter.
I think people would be much more patiant with others if there wasn’t a timer on M+.
timers changes people’s attitudes due to stress of not making that timer.
