- Classic would be effectively gone with a TBC progressive launch expansion, in which, you couldnât go back to play classic. Your character would also be locked to TBC as well as all of your classic progress. You would never get that character back. I donât see blizzard allowing character copies, because it would load the new TBC servers with account characters that may or may not even play TBC and I donât see them offering such a model for free.

I hope thereâs at least the option for fresh, thatâs probably what Iâd pick unless I can copy a character and also keep it on a vanilla server.
I honestly donât see Blizzard doing anything other than fresh TBC. Furthermore, I honestly donât see them doing character transfers either. People somehow forgot what happened in 2006. Back in 2006, most of the player base never even stepped foot in Naxx. By releasing TBC on top of classic so early, repeating the same mistakes back in 2006, they would seriously screw over those same players still hoping to attempt naxx content. Making Classic irrelevant would put so many people off the game. They would essentially repeat their same downfall in content releases.
Yea, repeat the mistakes of making the most popular MMO in the world. Peak subscription time was WotLK, not vanilla.
You should be rolling an alt for TBC instead of trolling the forums saying the same thing over and over again to yourself.

Disagreed, the amount of people youâll GAIN who recognize the playing field has been reset and are interested in TBC will eclipse the amount of people who will quit because they donât get to roll over their characters.
Itâs not as if theyâll lose them anyway, theyâre right there on Classic WoW servers for you.

If Blizzard doesnât crack down on botting and gold sellers, there is no point to force everyone on fresh realms. Sure open a few of them for those that want it, but most people donât want to level again and have a lot of items theyâve accumulated that are actually relevant in TBC. Reputation grinds are also time consuming. Losing that would would suck.
At best, maybe do a gold cap from Classic to TBC Classic, but again Iâm not sure what the point is unless botting/gold selling is addressed.

How would it keep big egos in check? They just continually show you how big their epeen is every restart. You donât keep a big ego in check lol. They are a big ego for a reason. Also, yearly resets are probably the worst idea ive heard so far.

If only blizzard put polls for people who have all 15 of naxx cleared out or r14 should be allowed to vote. Watch how these cringe fresh only votes not exist or barely if even. Itâs purely bad players who canât do their job. Itâs that cut and dry. Look at every single OP fighting tooth and nail for fresh only for the past month. ALL OF THEM are like 4 to 9/15 in naxx and like 1 guy 13/15. If you all actually took this energy and put into doing your job, then you wouldnât be whining on the forums every single day and have the entire raid done.

When TBC launches the amount of people coming back or starting for the first time will far outnumber the remaining population of players currently playing vanilla. Iâm sure those players flooding in to tbc will prefer some form of fresh servers.
what i see is someone who is so salty about not having what other people have. so he wants blizzard to strip them of it so he feels better about himself.

Oh i see, Then I will quit if TBC is fresh as my avata and all the efforts I have put greatly and valuably are going in vain because I want TBC I really do. Do not like to remain in Vanilla for good. I am Korean and Maybe I got lost on something up here. However, Fresh? Is somehing only related to those who havenât done any in Classic now. It is not like Original Classic going on now is to be erased but remains as is in a seperate sever created newly with a option for copy or transfer from the upgraded TBC in whatever current sever is .What Gold problem? Hello! Think it is just to be delayed nothing more than that. It is only matter of time. Gold sellers are always there and buyers are willing to buy correspondantly everywhere. Like I said, I have no interst in consuming time releveling my lovely Avata after my name and all gear sets are gone. The gears? Will be upgraded in outland though. And if fresh, no point doing WOW TBC as it will also be fresh in the next version raith if it comes as TBC.
You know people who unironically thought hellfire greens were an upgrade were in MC trash gear they thought was good only because of the purple text.
