Pretty much. I’m sipping my iced capp and enjoying the squealing.
Hmmmm clicks OPs logs on Naxx… Laughs hard A dime a dozen. Another bad who looks for scapegoats on why they’re bad.
Fresh is the best way. Freeeesh.
It’s a level 50 toon with BoD gear, meaning he stopped playing before classic came out.
They lack critical thinking skills. You’re wasting your time.
I mean, you’re the one who made this thread, so…
lol wait till blizzconline. You’ll then realize you are in fact the one without critical thinking skills. You’ll be back here on the forums complaining when you realize we were right to begin with.
i personally feel a yearly server wipe would do the community a world of good, perpetually accessible to new waves of players, keeps the big egos in check, keeps inflation down, no one cares about fresh starts in skyrim and stuff, why different here?
I support all options: preserve Classic, fresh and transition.
I disagree. Many have left Classic since P2. Others stayed apathetic to Classic, willing to play once BC releases (if it was ever going to).
This crowd, with the world-first- racing hype machine, will roll Fresh.
In fact, Blizzard will lose $ by not offering the fresh option and loses nothing by presenting it.
fresh in itself is a fantasy dream held by players that dont understand anything about what they are talking about
I’m pretty sure people would agree with me when I say, you’re the one that has no idea what you’re talking about. I can literally destroy your argument in several ways.
- Fresh will cater to a border audience looking to sub for the first time or to re-sub through TBC fresh content and be on an equal player field with others, because they didn’t stick around.
- Private server folks would play, because it would also be an equal playing field for them and also a good entry point for that group of the player base or market.
- You would retain Classic player subs, because classic was not be altered by a TBC expansion model.
- Classic economic flaws would not be transferred to a TBC launch. It would have its own economic flaws locked to that version of the game and not mixed.
- Gold farmers would have to reorganize or ramp up their operations in order to support both game versions. I would also argue that the illegal gold farmers, seeking the most profits, would probably jump ship off classic, because there would be more players playing TBC.
- Classic level 60s wouldn’t be able to speed run to level 70 in order to prey on players starting fresh from 1-70. Especially on PVP servers where this would ramp up.
- Classic raiding gear wouldn’t be used as an advantage on players who were simply waiting to play TBC or start fresh to relearn TBC gameplay.
- Classic would be effectively gone with a TBC progressive launch expansion, in which, you couldn’t go back to play classic. Your character would also be locked to TBC as well as all of your classic progress. You would never get that character back. I don’t see blizzard allowing character copies, because it would load the new TBC servers with account characters that may or may not even play TBC and I don’t see them offering such a model for free.
Give it up, they will literally never release a TBC fresh that forces everyone to start over. They may offer a few servers that provide this, because why not, but Blizzard is a company that exists to make money. Forcing fresh on everyone would be taking money out of their own pockets.
Right, because that worked so well for Classic. If anything, they will copy the standalone model as they do for classic, because it is most inviting to more of the player base. The fringe progressives and entitled gamers won’t help blizzard in the long run. Catering to these groups of players just isn’t realistic, because their appetites will never be satisfied. You have to understand how paid services need the best product entry points that target the most players.
So explain why in the latest TBC poll, you know the actual data that Blizzard is using to decide how this transition will work, there is not even a question about forced TBC fresh for everyone? You seem to have all the data that even Blizzard doesn’t have about what the payers all want so maybe you can help them out with your omniscience.
my argument remains undestroyed, as it is your opinion vs my opinion. unfortunately you have chosen the cringe route
You mean this one? https://strawpoll.com/z7bo52qdb/r
Yet, you seem destroyed. Not a single counterargument from you. Not a single one. I gave you hardcore scenarios that would likely happen if it was or wasn’t fresh TBC.
Were you a fat lazy slob that did nothing all through classic and want others drug to your level to serve your own needs?
Fresh will fix that
you still dont understand that you could also have fresh servers alongside what i was describing, with the copy character data and paste onto tbc servers
