Which is why modern day problems require modern day salutions. They need to have layers because of the servers being capped the way they are. The server cap is what, 12 times the original size? Yeah they need layers.

But where is the balance between getting BC Classic with his tenet and keep a Vanilla Classic? I for one would despise losing Vanilla Classic, even if it is to BC.
Layers won’t even do it for the places im talking about. Elemental plateau can support like 3 people farming at once, tops. Bots, and higher population is gonna render it unusable even with layers. Same as other farming zones.
which goes to what I said about how the data of the game is known, it’s exploitable. Legacy servers are, essentially, the opening of Pandora’s box.
How? 3 months in and the economy will be just as borked as classic is now. This thought process is delusional at best.
Honestly, I’d be pissed if they forced fresh servers for TBC. I have leveled toons just for the idea of being able to go from 60 to 70 and not have to start over.
agreed. why would anyone want their gear they just spent 2 years getting to go obsolete? ill be quitting if forced into BC.
fresh start would be the best option. second best option would be new BC servers that players can transfer to if they choose. (paid, to make more money for blizz, while also encouraging more chars to be kept on vanilla servers)

they get like 4 options with TBC-Fresh:
- Classic Museum p6 forever
- Classic Fresh
- C-TBC Fresh
- Shadowlands

The likely scenario is that all Classic servers will transition to TBC (maaayyybe a few fresh ones) and Blizz will add 5-6 Vanilla servers, allowing those wanting to stay in Vanilla to transfer/copy their characters to them.
Why on Earth would they double their server numbers for Classic alone, especially knowing that the vast majority of players will move to BC?
Yes please - Majority of servers should be fresh only
Leave a few for the others - let them have their limited fun. They will be crying for more content very early.
I very much doubt the default position will be to force players to transfer their characters to avoid being transitioned to TBC.

I’ll bet all the people that jumped in on the UBRS exploit before it was fixed are shaking in anger at the thought of leveling up again.

What if BC became a layer for each server? You hit the switch and you’re transported to BC.
HOWEVER, AND THIS IS A BIG THING, once you go BC, you can never ever come back on that character.
Mostly the people who couldn’t get their Stuff together in classic.
There’s still time, go stock up on raw ore for TBC and don’t be a failure two expansions in a row!

lol… most likely. Though im sure there could be some new players that just want to start from a fresh TBC or dare i say players whom stay in classic and roll on fresh tbc servers.
I’m only ok with this because I’m doing a full faction swap for Draenei shaman and seeing people go full tilt over it will be hilarious
