Other than wasting your time leveling back to 60 and losing any rare possibly no longer acquirable items/spells/etc… you’ve gotten.

Sure it has zero downsides.

I think there should be options but most likely Blizzard will just do a full TBC rollout ignoring the players.

I’d like to see a fresh Vanilla server come out every year or so, same with TBC.

At the same time I also think that current Classic servers should just continue on into TBC as is #nochanges :stuck_out_tongue:

New servers on launch with transfers disabled for the first 6 months would accomplish Fresh TBC start for people that want that experience.

So you can admit that you didn’t have the time to dedicate to the game. That’s a good starting point.

My next question is why do you feel that people who were able to dedicate time to the game should be brought down to your level?

Why do you feel the need to punish people because they were able to dedicate more time and effort to something?

That’s not what you’re asking for though. You’re asking someone force everyone to save their cookie because you wanted to save your cookie.

This is the first time I’ve seen a good reason to have no fresh servers. Getting rid of multiboxers would be good for the game.

Where do y’all people pull this out from?

I keep seeing this said with literally 0 evidence to support the claim.

I want completely seperate and fresh TBC servers so I must be a failure even though I’m sitting on 10k gold, 3 60’s Horde side and 1 60 Alliance side?

Unsubscribe then. Tons of people already leveled characters just for TBC and they likely outweigh your 5 subs. Bye.

And 9800 of them will be horde.

Gnome size jokes are so 2004.

He says posting on a lvl 33 alt then proceeds to make claims with 0 evidence to support them.

People are getting it because most of the people demanding a fresh start keep talking about how unfair it is that someone else might go into TBC with more resources than them.

Pfft the real reason for fresh is cause it provides the best game experience. The best part of the game is leveling and getting know people, not endgame raid logging. Fresh extends that as much as it can be reasonably extended without constant server wipes.

But we’re talking about going into TBC, everyone is going to have to level regardless of fresh or not.

Bro there’s a HUGE difference in going in at level 1 with nothing and level 60 with stacks of cash and items

Sure and having a few fresh servers for the people who actually want that experience makes total sense.

That’s awfully presumptuous unless you have access to Blizzard’s financials. There’s been a huge exodus from Classic since Shadowlands drop. Classic could very well have been a loss leader for them and served it’s purpose and they aren’t going to revisit it again. Who knows?

I find it very unlikely that classic was a loss. And even if it was, they can write it off as necessary for the protection of their IP.

This is true. The private servers really put them in a bind.

Since I was purely talking from a game play stand point not a financials stand point not really?

So on that tone I get why some people want fresh servers for various reasons. And it would be totally fine to offer a few, I think you’re over estimating how many people actually want them though.

Blizzard doesnt work for free dawg
