If this is what you truly believe, why would you play their game and pay them sub or other services money?

Megaservers are not good gameplay and server management should be trying to remove them, not encourage them.

What a joke. Meanwhile there are servers dieing. Everyone knows these dead servers exists as a cash cow for blizzard, and as long as there are muppets out there willing to pay to transfer then Blizz has no reason to fix them.

Watch this be a troll to get everyone who can currently free xfer to Eranikus and Sulfurus to do so… only for them to come back on the 31st and say “We hear you, we won’t add the free xfers”.

What if my character is on cd from transferring to the Server?
Free transfers are not subject to the cooldown nor do they trigger it.

You’re assuming Blizzard has the ability to use basic logic. They’ve failed to balance servers in so many ways, often through extremely slow and seemingly opposing means like you describe.
This response almost seems preemptive but without telling us their true intentions, making the decision of whether or not to move as a GM really difficult to make. Are they just testing the waters? Do they have a queue solution? Did userbase dropped precipitously before TOGC(since this really hasn’t been a new phase)? All questions they’ll ignore.
What would be great, especially as they keep implementing more of the Dragonflight client, is to just link realms.

if rdf is in then we will be facing queues worse than launch. i already know, gonna get ppl to move and do the same song and dance like before to milk money out. wow. well w/o rdf queues might be 2 weeks, with it. the influx of players will be massive and theyll roll servers again. blizz is so dumb lol

in case you havent noticed, they don’t care about wrath classic. Their wrath devs are working on hardcore realms now which will be DOA most likely or die after a month.

i think that level 60 have huge audience, that’s the demanded expansion!
we saw that classic 2019 was huge success, unlike level 70tbc or 80wotlk where both doesn’t interest that many.
so making a hardcore realm for level 60 will bring blizzard tons of $$$
They literally just gave 4 days notice. No matter when they give notice there will be people that ask why they didn’t tell us sooner. They literally have done this before and people should have just been patient. Blizz isn’t giving money back.

Bene hasn’t had queues since WOTLK launched and even those were short-lived.
If there wasn’t a queue for Ulduar, there won’t be one for ICC…

You can open a ticket and ask for some game time due to what happened, when i transferred off in tbc the same thing happened and i was able to get some free game time because of it.

I remember when Eranikus was first made, nobody wanted to be on a “new” server, after some time people started saying Eranikus is popping.
Now it’s actually dead, what happened?
