what time are they opening xfers?

They’ve tried doing free transfers from big servers to smaller ones in the past. It has never worked unless login queues are involved. People can have their opinions but the numbers just show that the majority of the population would would rather congregate to fewer, larger servers.

Nothing horde side. Both realms are still fairly populated at 4730 for Sulfuras and 3831 for Eranikus.

However, as has been shown over the history of classic. The sides began to tip and one faction fled in this case alliance and to Benedicition, Grobbulus, and Pagle. Potentially some fled to Atiesh and Westfall as well who didn’t want a larger realm or to deal with world PvP anymore.

They won’t until cata launches.

They’ll offer free xfers off and make you pay to xfer back when those servers die. This cycle has repeated about 5 times now over the life of classic.

Free Character Transfer becomes an option on the shop once it opens. They are currently not open. You do not have to purchase a transfer first. There is no paywall.

It’s funny cause in a few weeks you will have “The realm is full. You are number 3453452 in queue. Estimated time: 4 hours” and you will be copy pasting this “still waiting” :slight_smile:

Will likely come up at server reset time 11 am EST / 8 am PST if past indications are to be believed. Take this with a grain of salt. It’s going to be clogged as soon as it opens up.
