I’m still a bit salty about launch day.
When pre-patch hit the exact same launch issues occurred between the “character not found”, loading screen of death, etc. and taking 4-5 hours to get ingame.
Literally nothing was done in the entire 2 months inbetween prepatch and Shadowlands to prepare for an even bigger influx of players logging on. They didn’t even put on the queue wait times until the day after pre-patch and Shadowlands launched.
No because I never complained about the queue. I expected it and played around it. Im not leaving a perfectly healthy server for that.
The problem are the complainers who dont leave.
Agreed. Still a queue yesterday… that means too many complainers didn’t transfer.
They need to hit the queue to transfer. That’s the weird part.
I’d love to see some fresh faces on Staghelm! It is a long-time PVE realm of friendly people and classified as a ‘medium’ population.

I started mine yesterday. Didn’t see it was doing anything until this morning with a 12 hour wait time that was gradually moving down. Now it’s shot up to 1 day and 4 hours. If I had known the wait time was going to be so brutal I would have paid. Woof.
I’m thinking about doing this , but does anyone know if they would be able to transfer a guild to another realm?
I made the transfer with to chars in Area 52 (including my main), it gave an error but it says now that the transfer is being processed and that it will take 1 day and 15 hours… Is that actually true?
Seriously, folks these days don’t know how much better this iteration is. I remember when there was only one low pop option paired with a given high pop server for these types of free xfers.
I wonder if they will bring back the free one-way H to A faction changes if they’re looking at balance 
I hope not, I did mine 15 hours ago and haven’t been able to check for about 6 hours. When I last checked it said 1 day 21 hours and I still have to do my torghast and other stuff today…hope I didn’t screw myself.
I’ve tried to transfer a few alts and encounter an error every time. I have verified there are no items in my bags, no mail, no auctions nor are their caged battle pets as last time I did a paid transfer that was an issue. I’m also not trasnferring the GM, not sure what the issue is? Attempting to go from Area 52 to Malygos. I’d assume this is a qualifying transfer as the server is showing in the destination realm list where others are not.
EDIT: Okay it appears to be working. Although it stated an error occurred and to try again later I logged in/out and it shows pending transfer on all toons I’ve initiated xfer on.
Why is Archimonde not on the list, but Doomhammer is? Doomhammer is always a low population server, but Archimonde is a high population server.

I transferred 3 toons late last night and they showed up some time today.
I was told 2 days 12 hours (roughly) as well, and it took less than 24 hours for the transfers. Maybe 18 at most.
I just transferred a character but some people are saying that you don’t get a faction change when you swap servers. So now i’m screwed?
No faction change. That’s a separate service.
And why don’t they let us cancel it, this is some bullsht
Yes you can. I transferred a guild before. Oops, I dont know if that will be free.
I’m confused because it let’s you pick the server and some of the servers avaliable are high populated servers. What happened if you choose a high pop server, and how long do these transfers usually take.

I’m trying to xfer but I keep getting “An error has occured, try again later” but my characters are locked out… so I hope it’s actually working, I guess?
I can’t get into the realm I want to transfer from now, can I make the change logged into another of my realms?
