This is great… but it doesn’t make sense for the service to be available from the in-game shop… you may be potentially waiting 1.5 hours just to get to the transfer page, lol.
I just did this on my paladin… now I have to wait 2 days for it to process to the other server… so i can’t even play my main character until Tuesday… freaking ridiculous…
how can we check which realms get the free service?
Only tichondrius, area 52, illidan, stormrage, and frostmourne get free transfers.

It’s just the estimated time that they say for the transfer, but it’s usually just a few hours at most.
Know if this counts for guild master transfers as well?
Doesn’t say so in the button so I doubt it.
You will need to give GM rank to somebody in your guild. Can’t transfer as a guild master.

You can be a guild member, just not a guild master to transfer.
ya the issue is transfering with all my bank gold though lol
Just a quick update. I now have all my 7 characters transferred. So, overall it took less than 24 hours to have it all done.
Can we transfer characters from one account to another? I would like to consolidate my main characters from two accounts into one.
Some people obviously have never had to wait 2 hours to logon to a WOW character before and it shows.
Did the free character transfer on 3 of my toons from Tich about 8 hours ago. It said it wasn’t working but would continue to try to process it later. I woke up and it looks like its working, but have an estimated 1 day 21 hours until it completes. I really hope it finishes sometimes today because I still have stuff to do before reset tomorrow!
Then you need to do a guild transfer, which is not free.
have you been getting a consistent and extended wait in queue? if not, no.
Well my realm Illidan is eligible and am trying to the problem is that it keeps telling me I have live actions up witch I do not,any one else have this problem

and it’s filled to the hilt with players of other realms.
