weird bc i have a character on thrall and i want to move him off thrall but i dont have the option even though thrall is on Full Pop.
My character is literally trapped in Area 52. I made the… mistake(?) of not clearing her mailbox because I had no idea the character would be unplayable after SL launch, so of course I didn’t think about clearing out the damn mailbox. I can’t get into the server to empty it. So now she is stuck. Thanks for the free transfer… now if only I could use it.
Im still in queue for 30 mins. Can anyone tell me if Twisting Nether is on the list?
If the realm sits at “full” its an available realm.
With that in mind it still takes 3days to perform the free xfer and your toon will be UNPLAYABLE for the duration of the xfer
Also just to those who seem to be unaware. You can perform this transfer from any realm. You don’t need to login to the realm with the big queue

Not the free one. It only shows up if you are on a realm that is eligible.
Login to any realm. Shop -> services -> free xfer. the available realms will be listed in the page
I just xfered a toon from jubei to barthilas while being on frostmourn though 
That being said i had recently logged into Jubei
If I log onto Argent I don’t see it.
If I log on Stormrage, I see it, but can only pick characters from there.
Now, the regular paid one you can do anywhere, yes.

So am I able to transfer all my characters for free off Area-52 onto a smaller server or is it just 1. I have a few.
As many as you want it looks like. I’ve already done 3
Thrall is not giving free transfers and mal’ganis is not available as a destination for any free transfers.

I hit 60 five days ago on Area 52 and haven’t been able to play since because of 3 hour queues. I also don’t think my whole guild will xfer off so I’m basically stuck here. I’m also very lost with this game. I’m leveling an alt in Proudmoore and not sure what to do because I choose FATE =(
I’ll just spam LFG and get to 60 to pick up where I left off on Area 52.
For these reasons blizz should let guilds exist over cross realm the whole relm identity is not really a thing anymore…

I was hoping Communities would do this, but newp.
It would remove the server load issues and allow people to actualy find a guild that fits them perfectly.
The wait time estimate given does not seem very reliable. I placed the order this morning, around 0900, was given an estimate of ~24 hours or so, then it later jumped to ~2 days, then the transfer completed at about 2230 today.
I have 7 characters on Area 52 and was able to transfer 4 of them overnight. But the other 3 including my main are now stuck at 2 days 5 hours estimated processing time on A52.
Funny thing is I started the transfer on them earlier than the ones that actually got transferred. And processing time changes throughout the day it seems, just an hour ago it was 1 hour 10 minutes only to change to 2 days = /
