The fiancé went from 1 day 10 hours to 1 day 21 hours. For my self I went from 1 day 10 hours to 8 hours left as of 30min ago. Both transfers were started at same time. So long story short I guess it varies.

Is there a list of the servers they want people to leave - the ones with the free transfers?

How about xfers off low pop realms that have remained low even with the launch of a new expac? Imagine how dead these will be in a few months.

2600 in que and the wait is 4 hours. Why tf do we have to log into the server to make the transfer?? Why can’t it be done from the Battle.net client?
Took me 8hrs roughly for it to go through , estimated time was 1 day 12hours

It is a full server what do you expect?
Why hasn’t this thread had the list of eligible servers added? This is the least amount of information for free transfers that Blizzard has ever offered.

This is good news for my friend who has most of his characters on Moon Guard that he transferred over a while back to play with our friends, ended up they all bailed and quit the game so his toons were stuck there. I did the paid transfer when they were having a sale. I told him about the free transfers from High Pop to Low Pop, hoping Moon Guard is one of the ones offering free transfers from. He is miserable having his characters there.

You can go to a High Pop server… which aren’t dead.

or you know you could close high pop servers when they near full to new accounts instead of telling people “this realm is full” and letting them make a new character on here.
Get streamers to go to a lower pop server, speaking of, don’t worry A52 Tim will stop playing soon when he has no wow version of Seagul or doc piggy back off of.

Exactly. There are really only about 6 servers you cant transfer to. Realms which are ALWAYS full. The rest are fair game
I mean theres no queue until around 2pm eastern and it dies off in he wee hours of the morning.
What I found on other forums was to go to the paid transfer then cancel the order on the review payment then go back to the free transfer and try that it worked for me
