Just a quick warning for people looking to transfer. I’m sitting at 1 day 10 hours for the transfer to go through from Area 52.
Most people said the same, but then their transfers happen within a few hours.

Mine said two days and they were done within 4 hours.( 12 characters)
Both my fiancé and I are trying to leave Area-52 and to move to Stormreaver. We had other characters that went through, but they are not going through on our main characters. We both are getting an error message that we still have active auctions, but that is not the case. We made sure all mail was deleted and all stored pets were learned, so I am not sure if this is just a bug or if there is another issue with our characters that we are not seeing… because we definitely do not have any auctions…
Go to paid transfers, get all of the way to checkout, don’t pay and CANCEL, then select the free transfer. This seems to be fixing your error.

PSA for newcomers:
People, before you come here posting, scroll up. There is already a solution for the “active auction” error. Also, it won’t take 2 days to transfer your characters. Most people are reporting that it takes a couple hours, up to 4 or 5 at worst.

Mine said the same thing. 2/11 are done even though it said that. Its bull
Would you rather have no transfers at all? Jesus lord. Sometimes there is just no pleasing people.

We have stated many times in here how to fix this. just FYI
That won’t happen if you’re on a medium/small realm- it would have to basically go all the way through ‘high’ to ‘full’ and then even more til there’s a queue. Since those sizes are dynamic the only possible way that could happen is if you’re on a full realm but thousands of people wait until the dead of night when the pop drops a bit to xfer… which I don’t see as overly likely.
Most of mine went through very fast but im over 12 hours now waiting on the last four, including my main =/
I had the same error, but I think I got past it.
- Login to a realm
- Shop -> Service -> Character Transfer $25 (I didn’t actually use this but read along)
- Selected character from Area 52 and selected target destination realm
- Clicked “Continue”
- Waited for all character transfer checks (including pending auctions)
- Got to “Blizzard Checkout” page
- CANCEL
- Attempted “Free Character Transfer” of character with “pending auctions” error
- Process received an error
- Attempted again, was told character has pending services.
- Changed realms/tapped my foot impatiently.
- Character now marked for pending transfer.
Hope this can help others trying to use the free transfers before they go away.

Going to be very honest with you - I haven’t even HEARD of the server Moknathal… I didnt even know it existed. I did some research and even though it was a bit tough found that your server exists within a connected realm of a bunch of other servers that hit around 2400 players every 9 months. The servers that are affected such as Stormrage, Illidan, and A52 have 10-20x that amount of players on a single realm.
You’re going to be VERY unaffected by these free transfers
Well my characters were pending but then I logged back in just now and one said “error, check back later” or something like that and the other two are no longer pending. However when I try to transfer them again it says a service is pending. So idk if this is how it’s supposed to work, I haven’t done a free transfer ever.
Any idea how long it is projected to take? Currently it says two days and seven hours. I know that it said transfers take a while when in use, so does that seem accurate?
