I’ve seen people posting here on the forum that when they opened a ticket in-game, they were told by GMs to post here on forums. Not sure if that’s true, but just wanted to comment in case you weren’t aware.

Bigglesworth went from an average realm to dead. While I play alliance, I am lucky to see 30 total alliance on at the same time aside from typical riad nights. But now look at Benediction, a freakin mega server, smh. I can’t even play the game I enjoy, unless I wanna play single player on a new character and do soloable quests to max level.
Yes, because a ticket is not the same as an in-game suggestion. A ticket will not help and only waste your and the GM’s time because CS cannot provide free transfers nor make any changes to the game.
An in-game suggestion will not receive a reply (like a ticket does) because it’s a one-way submission box straight to the game team. If one wants to see changes in-game, then a suggestion/feedback is the best way (whether in-game or here on the forums): https://battle.net/support/article/21518

Hey there, Thanks for reaching outa bout this. I do apologize for any frustrations caused by this as I know you are wanting to simply enjoy the server you are on. If you are looking to transfer your character you will want to use the paid transfer option that is available. Customer Support is not able to provide free transfers I’m afraid. If you have feedback about server population, you’ll want to provide that to our developers via the forums we have available. Thanks for your time and understanding on this.

you would think that a company who has lost half of its subscriber base might do more to remedy a problem that they created…it is available you just refuse to do it. Look at the population and you tell me if you think it is good business practice to either A-have their customer play a gimped version of the game as the population isn’t high enough to complete half of the content, or B-pay you money to fix your problem. Rather than working on a solution to assist the customer, you would rather reply a weak email. Why is it that I have to do the work in order for it to be solved…I am not the one being paid to fix problems.
So the problem is created by Blizzard’s lack of insight…and their response is to give them more money or for me to do the work and bring it to the forums…then I should be compensated for my time in having to come here and bring it to the forums. I charge $100/hr minimum of 1 hour charge time.
It is egregious how they handle their games and customers. I am a long time customer who has spent tons of money on this game. It is clear that they do not care about their customers.

A ticket IS NOT an ingame suggestion. If you cannot tell the difference then there is no hope for you.
The servers were more or less stable until they opened transfers (not even free transfers, just transfers). It was pandoras box. The way I see it now, linking servers together the way retail does it is kinda the only way. Its not what we had originally wanted, but im on a 100% horde pvp server that will never get alliance again.

The list of eligible source servers needs to be expanded. Multiple servers which were ineligible for free transfers when announced (such as Thunderfury and Netherwind) have dipped far below the population of the then-largest eligible server, Skeram.
I know Blizzard is thinking hard about how to treat the underlying causes than just symptoms, but expanding free transfer eligibility helps alleviate the problem now, while Blizzard crafts a better long term solution.

Thanks for asking about this. Just wanted to pop in and let everyone know that we do have Free Character Moves (FCMs) planned for WoW Classic Season of Mastery to give some of the lower population realms a relief valve. We’ll be talking more about this including which realms will have FCMs enabled soon.
In addition to adding these for Season of Mastery, we’ll also be enabling FCMs on additional Burning Crusade Classic realms as well.
