Forum battletage bullying

blizzard are the ones who decide on what changes should be made.

That’s true and while some people are able to assert their request for change I and others are also able to voice our disagreement

Can’t decide if you were aiming for ‘anonymity’ or ‘animosity’.

Probably ‘anonymous animosity’, though.

It was a typo I broke my glasses and I type with my thumbs

sure you can.

it doesn’t mean you get to decide who pays for changes, whether you like them or not.

Doesn’t mean you do either insert hands up emoji yellow skin version

you were the one who brought up the random stuff about making forum btags a paid service…

Over a long enough timeline everything that seems random has a purpose just because you didn’t catch it on your first attempt doesn’t change that

There is a block option or just keep the invite on hold to make them angry.

If you can’t stand by what you say, don’t say anything.

Not only do I want battletags in the forums, but I want ignore on the forums to be account-wide.

This is what I wish too.

People can post with:

60 retail characters

50 Classic base characters

50 Classic WoLK characters

160 characters to post with and (8 flags per a character) 1,280 flags to flag bomb with (could be more or a bit less depending on trust level).

And classic should have their own forum they are always trolling retail.

Any cost that may be incurred would come out of the money that Everyone is paying into already. Ie; subscription fees and other paid services that go into the income pile at Activision/Blizzard.

How else would they do it? Do you think they’re going to do a poll and only charge people who agree with the change?

Yeah they could opt in it’s should be easy to do just like a service or something

I honestly don’t know why people get mad about sock-puppets. Are people worried that people will use alts to unduly influence Blizzard (via forum posts!) to make changes to the game?

People saying it would stop “cowards”? yikes. If you think someone is trolling you then why on earth would they bother you? Have enough self-assurance to not worry about some person on the internet that you don’t agree with.

If someone posts a well thought out, interesting idea I don’t really care if it came from classic character or a world first raider.

So, pay to not have to deal with trolls on their forum? I don’t see that happening.

I think it’s a way of trying to silence opposing viewpoints and people want an echo chamber on here really

No pay so they can have the changes they want made there is no need to change all that stuff these people want the system that’s in place just works really what it boils down to is people with too much time on their hands spending too much time on these forums

Pretty much.

I’m a huge proponent of allowing people to post however they wish so long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else. There’s two reasons for this. First I think that people have an inherent right to privacy, and where the internet is concerned, a degree of anonymity. Second, there are so many bad faith actors on these forums that it’s possible that someone could be posting on a separate account just to have a voice.

Having said that, I’m not sure why you think you should have some special immunity to being called out if you attack someone’s opinion of say, the final boss of a raid tier on Heroic if you haven’t gotten AotC yourself? I think it’s safe to say that that’s normally not how works.
