I think that you’re trolling if you seriously think that the forums are a bed of roses. If that was the case then why wouldn’t the dev’s continue communicating with these people? Look at any thread where someone’s complaining about whatever they’re going through. How many posters offer any sympathy or empathy whatsoever?
Its close to nil or void. You’re talking about forum posters willing to go out to help with keys? Just do any 10 in the past month. Since you regularly see those, there must be a lot. Name 10 of them with their posts linked and I’ll agree with you, eat my words right back. 10 out of tens of thousands of posters here by the way, that’s not asking for a lot if they’re regularly offering to help.
The antis are already trying to push that and we have shown actual Blizzard links that btags and real id are not the same .
We have given the Blizzard support page article on what btags really are as well as the accounts detail page the specifically say btags are public identities.
Anyone using real id in the btags discussion is just fear mongering by using disinformation .
I was looking through my threads btw and found one with disturbed dirt and that got me thinking of an achievement suggestion that would be hilarious but tedious.

With that said, I can tell you we’re already very much aware of the limitations of the current version of the forums and we want to update them. That isn’t as easily said as done though and “revamping” aesthetics is not at all similar to back-end functionality that was built into these forums which essentially needs to be rebuilt to accommodate new functionality.
I already screen shot one of them boasting about how they intend to take disagreements in here into the game if they get your btag.
There is a report button. If the rules are violated, report it.
Its NOT any members job here to enforce any rule or pretend to be a forum/game cop.

Sometimes he’s on in the break room, I multi task eating, being here and the tv is in my ear so listening and watching at the same time.
He fails to help people especially that teenager that who is a game attic, his dad would black out randomly because of all the stress he’s under trying to support his.family by himself. His wife is disabled she can’t work.
The kid is so addicted to gaming he thinks all he needs is gaming no school, no friends and wants to be a YouTube gamer when he gets older.
Here’s another one. Simply put, if you aren’t allowed to swap alts to harass/troll people in game, you shouldn’t be allowed to do so on the forums.
A single reportable, ban-able, ignorable ID makes it simple and reduces certain players, some who may or may not be current present or being replied to, less likely to troll.
Just a little fact of life for you just because Blizz gives you a limited right to say what you want in their forums doesn’t mean you have the right to make everyone else have to listen or read what you have to say .
