I think Exile’s Reach is a decent adjustment, but resources that are trapped in a time lock seems like quite a waste.
Take Forbidden Reach for example. Designed to be the starting zone for the Dracthyr, but eventually repurposed for a mini-patch content for everyone.
That is a good use of resources. Imagine if they didn’t do anything with Forbidden Reach and had to come up with something entirely new and content would come out slower.
Let us revisit regions like Outland. Have the Draenor Orcs and Draenei migrating people from their collapsing dimension to parts of Outland or attempt to stabilize it for living.
Would be a great opportunity to introduce The Broken and maybe Ogres to the Alliance and Horde respectively.
I used the analogy before, but each expansion is like someone building a house, using it for two years, and then build a whole other house and never use the previous one again. Absolute waste.
It will feed into DF after DF ends.
A new netherwing ledge daily hub could be cool.

I actually think she did care once upon a time ago. In fact, I think her goals shifted once she killed herself after The Lich King fell and she got her first taste of the Maw (or what we now know was the Maw) and that spooked her so good that her priorities shifted to getting eternal life by any means possible. It was at that point that Sylvanas leaned hard into her manipulative psychopathic self and let herself be tempted by empty promises and basically setting herself up to win the most gullible numpty award.
Once her plan to have the means to create endless Valkyr with which she could be endlessly brought back was foiled did she go down the “well eff the entire life and death process then…can’t go to an afterlife if there is no death and/or afterlife”.
It would also tie in to the Dragons story too. What happened to all of the Black Dragons that were taken and could expand on Sabellian and Wrathion joining forces to try to rehabilitate or bring some of those dragons back into their clutch.
Would be cool to see visages of some of the Nether Dragons.

Eh, I dont think she’d have killed herself after accomplishing her goal if she truly cared about the forsaken.
This isn’t possible. No one around is capable of raising Forsaken. It’s why val’kyr were required.
Calia has no special power. She wasn’t even an exceptional priest in life. Raising her took Anduin + Alonsus (one of the most powerful priests) + a naaru.
Also resurrection as a spell doesn’t bring people back from the dead. Canonically it’s just a really big heal that can bring people back from the brink of death.
It’s a thing though. You let hate consume your existence so entirely that it ends up being all you have and then when the source of that hatred is taken away, it leaves you with a void. No real different than people who let their spouse or relationship become their entire world and then are left shattered and broken if/once that person leaves.
I think Sylvanas always seen the Forsaken as a means to an end. I think she did genuinely care about bettering their position insofar as it better served her long term goals of getting revenge against the Lich King. They were her weapon and that toxic hatred spread to the entire “living”. She resented the living despite them having nothing to do with her fate. That made her more personable. She wasn’t just a cookie cutter villian who was bad simply because they are bad. Her evilness was much more nuanced which made her a way more interesting character.
To me it made sense that, once the being she based her entire drive to exist upon was gone that she wasn’t left with enough left to go on existing and given she already deeply hated and resented everything, including herself, offing herself was the logical outcome.
I really hope that the Nether dragons aren’t forgotten in this expansion.
The fact that they dusted off Sabellian gives me hope.

Then that would leave Maldraxxas necromancy/tech as a way to create more Forsaken.
Or Blizz could just go “Hey! To make it up to her people Sylvanas convinced Val’kyr she found in the Maw to help resurrect more Forsaken! Rejoice!”

Or Blizzard could just say no more Forsaken. Any “new” forsaken are those already raised and subsequently rescued from the thrall of renegade scourge warlords.
This tbh

This actually would be a crazy cool starting idea.
Starting out as a renegade scourge, listening to orders, then having the warlord be killed and meeting some Forsaken apothecaries who say, “Hey, we get it.”

Has been concerning when the alliance use it.
I guess they want to keep the Desolate as Scourge lite.
The undercity become mortal again, rejoin their relatives in the Alliance, and live happily ever after. Then End to the Foresaken.

How can she watch over you when she’s in the Shadowlands/Maw?
The same way that the jailer did.
Well, IoT devices have very little, if any security, and are easily hackable.
