New event is a Mists remix and the characters we create for it, will be swapped over to retail after the event concludes. Which is rather nice and Iām thinking of creating a Darkspear for the event, not sure on the class yetā¦ perhaps an Enhancement Shaman.
Which means that when we get playable Forest Trolls, Iāll make one and have my own Darkspear, Zandalari, and Forest Troll characters.

āTons. Skardyn are back. Dalaran is destroyed and Khadgar dies. Thereās a new race of dark troll type things called āharronirā who appear to be a secret second allied race ala vulpera. Kāaresh was a world soul and Xalāatath is the Harbinger specifically of Dimensius.ā
So we are meeting a new type of Dark Troll, known as the Harronir, and thereās already speculation that it will become a new allied race. If that does happen, Iām hoping that it wonāt prevent Forest Trolls from becoming playable in Midnight.
The return to QuelāThalas and ZulāAman just seems the perfect to introduce them.

Iām unsure at this time that they will be. Theres a lot odd about their model despite the amount theyāve added to it.
But its also early and the oddities may just be because theyāre in alpha.

I would be so down for this if they didnāt just role Wildhammer customizations into base Dwarf. I wish Wildhammer was an allied race, but at least I can still be one. You guys got shafted by not even being given a customization for it.

Possibly.
Its early to tell yet but at the very least weāll definitely interact with either dark troll remnants or more likely the āmissing linkā between trolls and elves. Which is cool on its own.
If the Harronir become playable there is no reason the Forest Trolls shouldnāt continue to be requested nor that they couldnāt be an AR.

I could say Iād worry adding Forest Trolls after Harronir is too many trolls but we have so many elves. I mean, Iād play a forest troll.

tbh theyāre kinda like to Firbolg from D&D. Hairy gentle awkward giants. Even the girlies can have sideburns.
But Furbolg already took the name. And their are oh so hairy with their fur!

I have to admit that I didnāt expect the Earthen to end up with the Rasputin dance and now that Iāve seen it, I canāt help but wish the Forest Trolls received it.
Iām actually not sure what kind of dance the Forest Trolls could get.

Saw this post and made me wonder how people would react to ZulāAman actually being the neutral city in Midnight. I have to say that I would be very surprised, but at the same excited since it would be something rather unexpected.
Now while I can see people declaring that a neutral ZulāAman would mean that Forest Trolls would be neutral allied race, like the Earthen, I donāt think that it would be the case. After all both the allied races did welcome the aid of both factions before joining the Horde and Alliance. Not sure what the Alliance would get to balance it out though.
