No…it parses your talent tree and displays it to the leader.
That is what the code does today
A future change is putting in a toggle not to show it.
What do you carry dude? You got rank 7 in vanilla. You have no CEs. You’ve never hit 1550 in arena. What am i missing?
Not sure, but that would be 2.X.X not 1.12 I believe which means it was not available in classic.
To clarify, are you saying the add on can read my talents or I have to MANUALLY enter a template? (permission is irrelevant)

This addon has to go. The author simply doesn’t know when to quit.

You still couldn’t see talents. The addon that came out was gear score. So people carried high level crap gear and put it on to meet those scores. And then put back on their low level but appropriate stat gear after they got into the dungeon.
It is a HUGE difference. Players were in an uproar when the Armory was implemented because they did not want other players to have access to their talent tree. If its automated it will be broken whether you like it or not, end of story.
Don’t use it and still have no issue making groups-- Or join a guild and never ever have to worry about Pugging groups ever again.
And anyone can look up your armory before a group and cut you out for a meme spec anyways.
Talk to people. Join a guild. Interact with your fellow players and make friends. If you do these things you will make your own groups pretty easily.

its not that bad and i dont care of it wasnt in classic ill use it for sure.the term use by streamers the classic experience is over rated especially when they want a guild chat addon that wasnt in classic.
ill use the lfg addon as well as a leveling addon.

On my spriest that add-on will define me as “dps”.
What if I answer a call for healing ?
Because an spriest can heal you know for dungeons.
That add-on is pigeon holing players based on their “spec” but that is wrong when it comes to vanilla.
I could be a ret/holy pally and heal but that add-on would classify me as DPS
If the add on can parse your talents then it is a version of Armory. Whether you choose to share or not is irrelevant an add on should not be able to perform a function that was forbidden in vanilla. This WILL be broken Blizz will never allow this functionality to go live.

No sir/madam it is not. No reason to bring options or functionality to Classic that were not in Vanilla. You could not inspect a players talents in vanilla and you won’t be able to in Classic.
Actually at this point it is a meme. Hardly anyone takes you guys seriously because the L’s are starting to rack up big time.

You are incorrect. The VAST majority of players want #NoChanges. There are a large number of community surveys, Blizzard statements, and forum posts to support this. Your attempting to minimize the majorities stance merely points to your insecurities. Hope you get better man!
