Forced to use LFG addon?

That toggle is not in yet…confirmed but not finished.

I’ll have to check again but I’m fairly certain you can’t inspect someone to see their talents in Classic and there is no Armory on the web.

Graff…inspect is only gear

There was no way of seeing another players talent build in Classic. You could inspect their gear.

Nonsense. If you can view someone’s in game talent tree that is a HUGE change to Classic. #NoChanges!

No one asked me my talents back then for dungeon runs.

If they were looking for a healer I responded on my spriest.
No one asked me to give them my build.

If you install an add on where you have to MANUALLY set up to show your talents that’s one thing. If the add on can read your talents (permission or not) it will be broken. That is about as far as you can go against the spirit of Classic.

If I’m creating a group, I want to inspect people to make sure they are actually specced to do what I need them to do in the group.

I’m not carrying people or a charity organization.

Sorry if that offends anyone.

Right up there with AOTC or don’t bother

  1. Learn that you don’t have to use it
  2. Understand that it’s just a chat parser and you can still do things manually.
  3. Don’t start another damn thread about it.

Apply that same logic to being in guild.

Forced to being in a guild because that’s where are the groups are formed.

Bad logic is bad. That addon doesn’t do what you think it does.

It’s more like you’ll be forced to use discord, a server group channel, or an addon. most people will probably use all three. but I dont see anyone complaining about LFG in discord servers.

What does “offend anyone” have to do with this? In Classic you could not inspect a player’s talents. Period. End of story. Adding the functionality to be able to do so is a HUGE change and will be broken.

If you fell the need to tell people how to spec go play BfA. (See how silly the “edgemaster” nonsense sounds?)

I think this is the dilemma that may cause Blizz to break it. It could end up splitting the community. Not everyone will DL it and then those people will have a worse experience.

Things like quest helper, swing timer, etc. don’t do that.

It DRASTICALLY changes this and you know it.

Makes you wonder if they ever played vanilla to begin with.

What did they use back then so they didn’t have to “carry” players ?

Don’t use it. Problem solved.

Oh I think I’ve been misunderstanding. You are saying it doesn’t list your talents like the armory does but a template the player creates. If thats the case then its completely okay.

Wasn’t it added with the pre TBC patch?
