Working out every morning and trying to have the physical and mental energy to work out every morning has been the only thing helping me sleep each night. I need to see the struggle in my head coming in the next few hours to fall asleep easily. It convinces my body that rest is indeed the best idea.

Laying in my bed with bloodshot eyes until an hour before my alarm goes off seems to do the trick.
It’s all fun and games until you get into deep calculus or physics for engineers.
3mg of melatonin is the maximum recommended dose and you’re really only supposed to take it long enough to fix your sleep cycle if you’ve been suffering from jet lag or something similar. Your body produces it naturally and taking too much for too long is definitely not a good idea so I hope you melatonin takers are taking it easy. I’ve dealt with insomnia for years. Zzzquil (liquid Benadryl) works best for me OTC but only for so long before it loses its potency. I’ve been prescribed like 5 different things at least. Ambien has been the only guaranteed way to knock me out but I haven’t had any of that in years.

Use to be reading but later on that didn’t work for me so now it’s fishing in the game it helps the same as fishing in rl.
