I do not deserve top tier loot; because I did not do the top tier content.
To anybody who thinks they should be able to have the same iLVL as a Mythic Raider without even setting foot in a raid (or equal iLVL M+)… get over yourselves. Take the WQ gear and be off with you.

I’d love to have challenging content because yes earning something is great. But it’d be nice if there was a pathway to that higher ilvl gear regardless of how you play the game.
Whether i’m in a raid with 20 of my friends or playing a new mode solo like Torghast or thrown in with some randoms in PVP I think (provided the challenge is equal among them) we should all have a shot at high level gear.

what does someone who does world quests want or need mythic gear for lol. why does an entirely new form of gearing need to be made to get gear for people who dont need it for any reason.

I agree wholeheartedly with what youre saying, however I think we need to stop ONLY using the 1%s in this analogy (primarily everyone does with that argument).
This game isnt 50% casuals and 50% hardcore. Players are mostly the middle group in between where they arnt just casuals but also arnt hardcore raiding/mythic. To say that the casuals DONT have the ability to play with Hardcores is false. You just need to find a group of people (usually a guild) that fits in the middle and honestly thats not that hard to do.
What content doesn’t need gear? Pet battles? Those don’t give gear. What else?
I could say the same thing to you…if you don’t get a drop until you kill the boss, why do you need any drops?? Better gear makes everything better. World activities go faster, you can solo progressively tougher rares/bosses, you aren’t a complete creampuff in random BG and WPvP (if you’re that kind of masochist). And my ability to get better gear doesn’t affect you ability to do your content. If the fact that there are equivalent rewards available by doing something else ruins your “enjoyment”, then you really didn’t enjoy that activity after all.

Are you saying you NEED Mythic gear to do World Quests and dailies? Is that your actual take?
No content requires MYTHIC gear except MYTHIC content. You are saying gear in a relative way that makes me assume you think all gear is the same? Why would you argue in that way?

Its not about you or me, you completely missed the point somehow. Its about this is an MMORPG and as an MMORPG its a game meant to be played socially on some level. As an RPG its meant to reward you for progression. Thats the genres staple. If progression lacks no reward then its meaningless.
Your enjoyment take is laughable as you are the one crying about not getting better gear for content. It would appear you “just didn’t enjoy that activity after all” if you have to get better gear for doing content. Just do it because you like it

I Personally am not asking for free hand outs.
if i could do something with professions that is challenging to me that doesnt involve a dungeon or raid or pvp, but has its OWN challenge to get me better gear. Sure why not.
If i could have more challenging World Quests that allow me to add Ilvl’s to my gear each time i fill a paragon rep to max that maybe only applies to that specific gear, that maybe cannot be worn with raid gear or pvp gear. But only for those types of activity, but allow me to progress why not ?
Nobody is asking for MAX iLVL gear to be placed on a vendor where you can buy your BIS for 2 copper.
I PERSONALLY AM SO SICK of everything revolving around Raiding in this game.
Have to schedule everything around it, have to make that X percent of players happy and screw the rest, without the other X% of players who are dominant in this game, there isn’t enough income to make this game feasible.

Yes. The gear helps me knock them out in half the time. It gives me a fighting chance to reach objectives before Joe Mythic swoops in and snags them all. If Mythic gear gave raid-only buffs, I would agree with you. As long as Mythic gear continues to apply to casual content, I don’t.

Please do not use the word “Earned” in a game where anyone with enough gold can feasibly buy their way to whatever they want. This covers, Mythic Dungeons, Raiding and Pvp.
Nothing in this game is “Earned” any longer, sure it’s a nice feeling when you achieve something the honest way, but that’s far and few between now.

All you need is for your ilvl to meet the requirement of the content you’re doing.

If Blizzard were to equally distribute gear to players through a system that didn’t require those players to go out and earn it, that is Socialism, which is what people are asking for.
Get rid of all the damn RNG. i have considered going back to FFXIV. You do dungeons you get tokens you buy the piece of gear you want for your set. You want better gear you do harder content to get different tokens to buy better gear. It’s not rocket science.

all you gotta do is tag them. You don’t need the gear. And if you had the mythic gear, then Joe “4kRaider.IO” Mythic probably wouldn’t make it time to get in on the fun.
