Follower Dungeons - Initial Daily Limit

I bet it’s not about bots. More an concern of the amount of instances

But you won’t cap the number of delves we can run per day in TWW, right? Right?

No one seems to be asking the big question- Will Murloc and Corgi glasses work on the follower AI?

yawn pvp content when?

Probably because they do not know how popular they will become and do not know how much server resources they will need. And no amount of BETA testing can find all the bugs and exploits active players will.

I have ideas for a re-expansion please let me know what you think.

Oh no, I don’t mind, this is what the game has to do to survive.

But there should def. be a hard limit, and I’m glad for now they’re enforcing one.

Bots have nothing to do with this.

There won’t be in the future and no there definitely does not need to be hard limit.

What are you trying to limit?

And just like that, they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory… again.
Realistically I probably wouldn’t do more than 10 a day, but having this limit in place is classic Blizz lol.

Other than DE mats, who is the player that would want to run them more then 10 times? Let alone in a day.

This would be fantastic. In PUGs I am
often the only one kicking and dispelling and if they did the tutorials in “current content” dungeons I think that would help people who are apprehensive about heroics and higher to make a transition from training wheels to the actual game.

Main reason I’m looking forward to these dungeons is so I can practice subtlety rotation in an actual dungeon environment without inconveniencing people.

Yeah girl, I say on YOU, tell ‘em girl

Make it per character at the very least. I have 15 70s. Thankfully when I came back I’ve only been leveling one who I purposely left around level 60 to try this out. Only to be told last minute its severely gimped xp. So, I guess I could try out some healing/tanking specs I never tried but 10 per day per account is an L.

And how about brainstorming some actual bot prevention? This is a big company and this problem has been going on since the dawn of time. This would probably curb a little bit but for only AI dungeons. So its useless if that was their reasoning for this.

If someone needs follower dungeons to learn about running dungeons and the different roles and how everything works, then it seems really unlikely that they’ll be running them quickly enough to be greatly inhibited by a 10/day limit.

If someone were trying to exploit some aspect of this system, a 10/day limit would probably slow them down a bit.

This makes sense to me.

All the information they have put out indicated that it is not intended for leveling. They already said the XP would be considerably less

Is it just me or have the responses to Blizzard Posts been insane lately?

When I read the thread title, I immediately thought:

“Oh, good. It looks like Bots could use this. No one else there to report them.”

Then I read the posts after the OP…

Is there something in the water, or is the WiFi melting people’s brains? People actually find a way to get upset about this?

I almost feel like there is some Discord group that unites to spam the forums to complain about the most innocuous things, just for laughs. That is more believable than anyone actually being upset about this.

You mean to tell me after all these years, Blizzard still hasn’t figured out how to rid the game of bots?

They quickly censored web addresses from LFG to combat all the RMT spam……

Oh wait……that was just a dream.

Perhaps because people would rather they get off their butts and actually get rid of the bots instead of punishing honest, paying customers?

But that would hurt their sub #’s so here we are.

Considering the official forums are the only ones that have a large majority of people crying bloody murder over the 10 per day limit? Imma go with yes.

I’ll say it again - At the rate of completing a dungeon at around 20-30 minutes with a Follower Group, you are looking at anywhere from four to five hours average of gameplay time, per day, doing dungeons with followers - and this is assuming you take literally no breaks at all during this period.

This is not going to affect anyone who claims that they need this system because they’re either too casual, or too socially introverted, to play with others. We’re talking a quarter of a person’s day here being able to do follower dungeons, assuming they plan to do nothing else that day except wake up, play wow, go to bed. Frankly, if that’s what a person is doing, they’re not that casual to begin with, and probably don’t have any many alts left to level.

If you hit the limit, do something else in game, queue with real people, or heaven forfend, just wait until the following day and do it again. This is not going to realistically affect anyone who is not using this system to exploit it in any real capacity.

At this point I really do think people are complaining just for the sake of complaining.
