Follower Dungeons - Initial Daily Limit

Probably because of the potential number of instances being created. They presumably want to ease into it to make sure the servers aren’t overwhelmed. While I’m sure they’ve done plenty of performance testing internally they still can’t be certain of just how much players will use the feature.

What’s stupid? The bot limit or your opinion?

Nah, you can get gear considerably faster by doing the emerald dream, world quests, and what not cause it’s about the same power. Do some Fyrakk Assaults, Time Rifts, and/or Dreamsurges and you’ll be LFR ready. Dreamsurges you just fly around and collect dream goo and can buy a slot for 100 dream stuff each.

Also even farming experience outside of dungeons is vastly superior. Killing elites in the open world nets you 2-4k per kill if ungrouped, and with hyperspawns you can get a whole level in no time.

AI follower dungeons are about being chill with friends/solo, learning, and taking your time for whatever reason you want. Maybe you have a quest too so you go in and get it done at your own speed.

Sabes que seria genial si en ese grupo de 5 contando mi pj principal que estén mi alter ayudándome en la dungeon normal que haga XD y los que cuenten con un solo personaje les dieran pj aleatorios Saludos

That’s what I was expecting for some reason. But I think I got the AI dungeons mixed with delves.

I would love a full team of my own characters running along with me in a dungeon.

Yuck. Way to apply the Blizzaro Monkey Paw to an otherwise interesting feature.

All the people who currently play 18 hours a day should still be able to do whatever it is they’ve been doing once they hit the run limit every day.

The only way blizz gets rid of the bots is if you guys stop using them and buying their gold.

There is no justification for cheating or buying botted gold. Only pathetic asinine excuses.

This right here makes the most sense.

It’s really not that big of a deal to be limited to 10 for a while.

Same tbh. Only time I run more than one maybe two dungeons in a weeks’ time, is usually when Time walker dungeons week is up. The 10 a day cap would never hit anyways. Xp mob nerf is probably going to work like regular dungeons, in that most the xp you get will be behind boss deaths, and dungeon completion.

This is a big ask from Blizzard. :dracthyr_crylaugh:

Yeah this has to be it. Follower dungeons will drastically increase the number if instances running at the same time and with the AI I am sure it requires even more CPU usage than a typical dungeon.

Really looking forward to this coming with higher difficulties like M0! Hell would love to see them roll this out for low keys as training tool for those just starting out in M+.

Not sure why anyone would want to do one of these let alone 10.

Good reason. There will likely be a decent rush when the gates open. It will probably begin slow down as the newness wears off or from those that try it and simply do not like the feature.

you planned on doing more than 10 normal dungeons a day? You’re not being punished. Relax

You planned on doing more than 10 each day? Please… it’s a non issue for any human player.

I’m sure there will be a few people who hyperfocus, even if it’s just for the curiosity of finding out how many runs it takes to level a character.

Personally, I’m sitting on a large pool of untouched dungeon quests. With all the other things I want to do in 10.2.5, I’m not expecting to do more than a dungeon or two per day, but it’s not impossible that, if I enjoy the experience, I’d get carried away and end up trying to clear my logs in a single sitting.

After a week or two, I’m expecting I’ll be pretty much done with follower dungeons other than maybe the odd run to do toxic crafts or to a swarm of attempts to try to collect an appearance that stubbornly refuses to drop. It’s just that initial spike of activity of lots of people doing stuff simultaneously that might test the servers.

The limit is kind of lame so I hope it gets lifted for people that will use this system a lot but personally it won’t stop me from trying these to see how they are and if I enjoy them better than queuing for randoms with randoms.

Can you people stop spreading conspiracy theories about how blizzard is doing this or that when it’s a safety precaution measure.

No. No they can’t.
