Focus Up
Focus Up is a guild where a group of friends want to get together and raid some competitive content while also staying casual. Our aim is to have fun and push content together. We strive to build a competitive environment while also staying within that casual atmosphere. We bring exceptional dedication, a positive and enjoyable raid environment, competitiveness, and drive to better our group as a whole. We are currently rebuilding with aim to start a full guild group to push and log with in the new year.
Environment
Within the environment of Focus Up, we aim to consistently clear content in both mythic plus as well as raid in an extremely organized and clean process. This stems down from us providing video guides on each and every boss, strategy discussion on each boss, and which weak aura sets to download and utilize. You can expect us to be prepared going into each encounter and tier informed and ready.
With the guild being so prepared, we also ask that you as a raider come prepared and informed. This means that each and every day of being in the guild you bring positivity and respect. We want all members of the guild to be working together to teach and to play while also staying within boundaries of respect. Communication is key and we need all raiders to be on the same page. If someone screws up, inform them but also teach and allow them to learn and grow. We also ask that you come to raid prepared with your class’s consumables that the guild does not provide as well as enchantments, weapon runes, gems, and anything else that you feel is vital to your performance.
With the guild having experience from all walks of the game, you can always find someone to help you as a raider. As I mentioned above, something we ask is to be informed which specifically means with your class knowledge. If you find yourself struggling, reach out. There are plenty of people available to provide insight on how you are playing and even do log dives to help with class comparison.
Raid Schedule
Friday and Saturday 9-12AM EST.
We begin inviting up to 15 minutes before that 9 PM start time and then pulls start at 9.
Optional nights are not scheduled and can be organized as seen fit!
Loot system
In Focus Up, BOEs dropped within the raid will be sold by the guild and raiders will see a 80/20 split where 80% goes to the raid to continue to pay for cauldrons, feasts, repairs and other various purchases. The remaining 20% goes to the raider who looted the item.
Consumables
The guild will provide main consumables such as cauldrons and feasts, it is up to you as a player to keep your character in shape for raid.
Roster
We aim to have a solid roster to ensure success. When clearing heroic and stepping into mythic, each fight will be determined to have the best possible roster for the fight and players will be sat based on the raids needs. However, as encounters go down, players will be rotated in to ensure that everybody gets credit for kills. We want players to be available during encounters where they are sat so that they can learn and also be ready incase they need to be brought in. Performance is also included in evaluations of who should be sat and brought into fights. This goes for the whole team, raider and officer.
