Iâll be honest I didnât use /joke in Dracthyr form on my priest so I had no idea that was even a thing.
My female non-evoker uses male sounds for getting hit and attacking. And I heard half the voice lines donât work at all but I didnât try those either as I never use emotes.
Like the fact we got these new classes, what, 2? 3? weeks ago and they still donât work properly and havenât been hotfixed is baffling.
But then warriors have been waiting how long for a fix to missing sound effects? Iâve heard itâs been over a year.
There is literally nothing stopping you from doing this now except yourself

Doesnât matter. get that you have some complex dynamic of delineating âWHYâ it should or should not exist. Thatâs great. It does exist, it is a thing, and no⌠they will NEVER add flying to it. The Timeless Isle, designed the exact same way (ground mounts only) was added Sept 11, 2013. Eleven years later. Still no flying. Trust me, I was such a HUGE advocate of flight during the events leading up to WoD (Nov 13, 2014), that I got physically removed from these forums by Bashiok and was not even allowed back for nearly 6 years until I asked to be reinstated. I got VICIOUS on the subject of flight being removed. So I get all 733 reasons why flying SHOULD exist in EVERY zone including the two that need to be recoded. I spent 1400 pages on MMO-C explaining why.
They donât care. So dust off your ground mounts cause we are going to the Isle of Plunderstorm.
This is the weakest and laziest argument against the OBVIOUS fun and speed that comes with flight. Some folks have far less time than me and need to get around faster. Well, just like the Timewaste Isle in Pandaworld, weâre all dusting off ground mounts⌠and will be fine. But suggesting ground mounts in the open world as a valid means of transport when it takes 2 minutes to fly from the Dal wreckage to the camera equipment on the other side of dorn would be a 7-9 minute trek. Stop using lazy excuses and stick with the âThis zone is going to give us all the chance to dust off our ground mounts.â Cause I am betting other than PvP BGs, both of our butts have been in the skies for 5 expansions 
Not shocked at all, this current Dev team canât resist finding a way to remove or restrict flying. You all thought just because we got flying right away Ion and Co had changed, they wonât change and this is just proof.

I donât think you are grasping what Iâm trying to convey, so it feels a little pointless to continue to try. The meaning behind things matters to me, they apparently do not to you.
And FWIW, based on the above we WILL get flying on Siren Isle, unlike how Timeless Isle is still a no-fly zone. Which goes back to what I was saying â the reason why flying isnât allowed and how it the content is designed with that in mind plays a big role in MY enjoyment of the content.

Whattaya mean âthisâ dev team? This all started in WoD which was very much the work of the OG dev team that put it in the game in the first place over a decade ago. This is not new behavior.

WE fly EVERYWHERE. There is not a zone in the game where we can actually enjoy being grounded.
My level 10 can skyride everywhere. Yes its for convience but, what if i just wanna ground ride some where? Oh no, you can skyride wherever you wish.
People will argue. âBut you can ground ride if you want, there is ground mounts for that.â Youre right. I could, but what if i wanna ride the headless horse mount but stuck sky riding?

Making the entire zone underground gives blizzard more freedom to dismount the playerâŚ
Donât be surprised to see DR nerfs on the horizon with this dev team. Always one step forward and then three steps back with this dev team. They canât find an easy W if it walked through the halls of BlizZard HQ and delivered pizza, coffee and donuts.
