Not for TWW, no. I meant, previous expansions, they had 1 new mount equipment in a couple different expansions that only worked in that expansion’s areas or somecrap.

You have 10,000 horses to call upon that can’t fly.

75% of TWW is underground yet you can fly there.

That players fricken hate no fly zones, esp. when there’s no real reason they have to be no fly?

It sounds like it’s only no fly because the island is tiny.

How is me flying, making you suffer? Do you really hate seeing people enjoying the game and having fun that much, that it causes personal suffering?

Shadowlands was released Nov 20, 2020.

Not even 4 years ago.

Dragonflight was released Nov 28, 2022.

So, not even 2 years ago we were still in Shadowlands, and still unable to fly in areas like the Maw and Korthia.

I dunno about that other area they added after Korthia, as I’ve never been there as I didn’t come back until after DF.

EDIT: Shadowlands 9.1 which finally allowed flying in the main areas, was released in February 21, 2021.

Depends on how much grind/annoyances we face.

Depends on how many stupid obstacles are placed to force you to travel 10x, 20x the distance to get to where you’re going.

Depends on how many hordes of annoying enemies that don’t give anything when killed and aren’t part of any objectives you have to kill to do the content.

Depends on how long you have to grind to get the ring up to that point.

etc etc.

The new zone is the size of a BfA island. You’d cross it in literally 2 seconds if dragon riding were enabled lol.

Who said I wanted to use Skyriding?

There is this thing called Stable Flight and it’s awesome for getting around annoying time-wasters like paths winding up a cliff face for no reason other than to make you walk as far as possible.

I have no idea how any able person can do stable flying after sky riding. It’s so slow and boring. :frowning:

It’s very precise.

Skyriding has its place, but so does Stable flight. Stable Flight is way better for herbing and mining, Skyriding is great when you wanna get from Point A to Point B that is some considerable distance away.

Walking for the sake of wasting time is somehow “playing the game”, lol.

Setting auto-run and occasionally tapping an arrow key watching your character walk for 5 minutes at a time is not what I call “gameplay”.
