The gameplay loop for MMOs has always been about doing inane chores to feel like you’re getting something. It’s a life simulator for people who don’t have lives. That’s the way it’s always been, always will be. You’re just getting older and realizing it. Before you had a tolerance to it. But eventually you just get burned out and can’t handle any more.
That’s what I call fun. I have an army of alts that I like to play without the tedium of being stuck to the ground. You know like I did in BC. Like I did in wrath. Like I did in cata. Like I did in MoP.

Also I won’t be getting the next expansion until it’s about a month before flying unlocks. I HATE not being able to fly.

I’ve been around since tbc. Including the forums. Complaints about flying in timeline form.
Tbc - it’s too expensive! Some areas look unfinished from above.
WOLK - why do I need cold weather flying?
Cata - (I quit over this expac so I’m unsure)
Mop - Why can’t I fly in timeless isle?
WoD - why can’t I fly?
Legion - why do we need pathfinding?
BFA - SERIOUSLY WHY DO WE NEED PATHFINDING?
Sure some don’t like it. You know why Blizzard didn’t change it for several expansions? Because if you don’t want to fly…

of course i will fly whenever i get the achievements. that still doesn’t change the fact i wish they’d remove flying altogether or that it’s a great convenience once you do get it. you’re just as funny as that one ^.

you’re not saying anything new to me. i have all 50 character slots used, mostly 60+… including 13 maxed from 23 that were maxed at 110 last expansion.
Did you level them all before flying in each expansion?

Flying makes the game worse. All it does is allow you to play the game less. It turns the game into connect the dots where you only land if something shows up on your minimap.

With TBC, WOTLK, Cata, and Mop you could go back when getting money was easier or it has been nerfed and get your flying. With Pathfinder you’ll be grinding out that rep even if it’s 5 expansions later and it may even be HARDER later due to reduced rep from mobs.

Flying does nothing but make the game better. Don’t like it then stay on the ground and you can have the exact same experience if you stay on the ground.
Flying makes the game infinitely better.

You’re not, and your opinion is as important as mine even if we disagree. I would think it’s heavily favored in the pro-flight direction but lack any meaningful statistics so we just have debate and representation.
