Yeah, I was going to say that we didn’t have showers in the band hall either but…
I just couldn’t be clever enough to craft some tasteful innuendo.

We had a teacher get canned for walking into the ladies locker rooms… while they were changing.
(yes, it was a male teacher)
WTH?
He was a creeper, everyone knew
Funny how this exact situation is what every male anime protagonist finds himself in.
I see two problems here.
The first is that players were getting free Flasks that could only be used in content where, frankly, most players aren’t even using Flasks now.
The second is that the ‘fix’ for this problem was to completely break content for the entire player base. Right now, the majority of players simply can’t do Ogrila content because there’s no way to complete the gatekeeper quest involving those Flasks.
In my mind, the second problem is far more serious than the first.
buying gold : i sleep
botting the economy into oblivion : i sleep
literal flyhacks with tons of reports and even videos : i sleep
some flasks due to a bug because blizz only hired 2 unpaid interns working on the TBCC : REAL SHI!
It’s not that they could get them, it’s that they had a sell price and people made thousands of gold macro buying them and selling them.
If people were picking it up and selling some (less than 10) and even did a bug report, they shouldnt be banned. just take away the flask and/or gold.
But players who exploited more than 10, didnt report it and its obvious theyre abusing for free gold, then yeah do a small 24h ban, but Come on Blizz.
This bug was in the PTR, Reported in PTR and you pushed it to live then act surprise people abused it. Stop working on Retail hotfixes to cover up women (and ironically be sexist) and fix these economy breaking bugs.
Cant really argue with this
/who rogues in BRM ban them all
atleast those toons are not adding anything to PvP, PvE community
Again, simple IQ test here. Just because the bug is there is no excuse for exploiting it.
If these players do not have an IQ high enough to know what they are doing is wrong and will most likely get a ban, then maybe they should spend more time in the books and not a game.
I say let’s return to 30 day minimum suspensions for exploiting or gold buying. Send a message that exploit early, exploit often is not ok. And gold buying is garbage. Make it hurt.
id also like perma bans to return to botting and exploiting with the slave pens and botanica bots no-clip flying under the ground for ore and herbs but nah, Flask abusers is a much more important and economy devastating to Blizz devs than banning obvious gold farming bots for RMT.
you do realize there were players accumulating enough gold from this to effectively break the economy for everyone else who didn’t exploit it? that’s worthy of a 6 month ban imo.
they should also be permanently banned.
But they do ban bots just as much. The difference is that bots owners are not going to come complain in the forums, so you hear less about it.
Also the bot runners have 100’s if not 1000’s of account just waiting to be used to replace accounts when a ban hits so, to you, it looks like nothing is happening because the amount of bots does not appear to drop.
Its pretty obvious buying and selling flasks is also super easy to detect and action en mass.
If someone bought a couple and sold them back and were like lol 5g that’s funny. That’s one thing.
If people did it intentionally for hundreds or thousands of gold, they’re lucky they didn’t get perma banned
Its more of a ban wave id want more than anything as the last time they did it was during TBC prepatch, and it was to ban people using a botting program that interacted with the WoWclassic exe.
The goblin in me wants it too as when these banwaves happened, botters mass-offloaded their botted goods for cheap so they can grab their gold and run before the ban hit them. ex: a stack of Thorium ore that usually sold for 20g dropped to 5g for a few days and people like me picked up a few stacks to make some profit a few weeks later.
More importantly, the ban waves need to be more frequent, like every patch Tuesday. Every Tuesday when maintenance is done, they need to also take out the trash.
If FF14 devs can do a weekly tally and report on banned/suspended accounts after each server reset on tuesdays, you know, a team that is smaller than Blizzard right now and now has to deal with 2.0mil users; Blizzard has no excuse.
And if they did want more $$$ the botters rebuying the sub + boost gives them more. itsa no brainer. I have literally no idea why Blizzard isn’t doing more banwaves except that they just want the game to rot.
