Flask Bans

Which we know that system is still in place the ban wave that just happens is irrefutable evidence of that. Yes the gm system may of become more automated but that is vary different than not having one.

Yes they might spend less into gms now vs before but none the less the system is still there claiming otherwise in a threat like this only makes you look dense.

Some people are hoping they’re going to fall through the cracks somehow. They assume Blizzard can’t possibly know what kinds of transactions your character is making.

That same mentality comes across here as well, with people assuming their handling of bots should be as simple as they imagine it is.

Considering your replies are riddled spelling errors when they have a spell checker built into the forums… you look dense.

And no they do not have GMs in the game anymore. You could report a bot and they would show up an interact with them to give them a chance to prove they weren’t a bot. And if they could they’d get banned on the spot. The ban wave has been wrong tons of times.

In this instance, they should do the normal 3 day ban, remove the gold, and fix a problem they created.

This issue itself proves that claim there are no gms as false. As it required a gm to ban for a new expoilt. It did not just happen on its own. No they don’t have in game gms no more but that is massively different than your claim there are no longer gms.

Yes ban waves are wrong at times. That’s the point of the appeal system nothing is ever perfect. Even when there was gms in game there was false bans. In fact it also happened tons of times love when people use something as broad as tons in a multi million player game so easy to reach that number as a few errors quickly become a ton.

It isn’t false, it’s all auto-mated. The problem got reported on the bug list with a video, then someone writes a script to ban people based off if you sold the flasks… bam done.

It was not automatic esp in this case. It required a change to the system to cause these bans and disable the flasks the system did not do that on its own. The game masters did. Irrefutable proof game masters still exist and still do police the actions of the community on some level.

There is a difference between a GM and Dev you know?

the worst part is the flasks aren’t even useful.
and i don’t care if these guys made a quick gold for catching the dev’s with their pants down. these players should be rewarded not with a ban.
but a thankyou for pointing out the game sucks. we took Terokk to Shattrath in Protest.

Yea there is and a dev is part of the game master system as a higher level part of it. And do act as part of that system when making these changes. Yes they have automated the lower level of it quite a bit but that is not the same as removing it which was your claim. It further is not fully automated which again was another of your claims as you can see via people still holding that title at blizzard and are still to this day able to speak with them via tickets and the appeal system.

If you where accurate and claimed the system was more automated or not spoke such clear lies wouldent look so dense abs wouldent be so obv your posts are false.

Some kid at my daughter’s school filmed himself stealing all the shower curtains out of the boys locker room.

The “GMs” will not have a real time conversation with you, also they no longer have a support number to call… BECAUSE IT ALL WENT AUTO-MATED with the ticket system! The fastest way to get a response is to log out of the game for 30 mins and they will reply to your ticket. They don’t do customer facing anymore. Now go back to retail you Shadowlands Troll!

i miss those days when you had a problem you could actually call and talk to a blizzard employee and it would resolve it

Never once said they do customer facing your claim is they removed gms not that they removed facing.

Via your own statment you can still get a hold of them so yes they still exist. Never once was it said the system is not more automated than it used to but none the less it is not fully automated as you claimed. Nor do gms no longer exist like you claimed they most def do.

Have you tried to open a ticket recently, you gotta jump through hoops just for the chance to maybe get a response that isnt an email, gone are the days you actually spoke to a GM now its more of a 1 - 2 day reply between responses, gone are the days you actually had a proper conversation with a GM.
