It did. What?
Your issue is that you think there is no one that likes LFR. There are plenty of people that completely fine just doing LFR. SANDBOX MODE.
They just got the feedback that there was certain amount of players that would want to do more.
If they would have introduced flex only, they would have gotten the feedback to add a “sandbox mode” at some point.
Well I don’t see it as unfair so I won’t stand with you and fight on this issue. And it’s always a company’s prerogative to decide what your money is good for. Coke could decide that a soda can is 14 ounces for the same price as 12. They’d still make an enormous profit, even a massive boost in sales until Pepsi decided to do it too. We just get to complain to try to change a company’s mind, accept it, or unsub.
Hmm… there were no calls for LFR in wrath because 10 man raiding filled the niche for people who wanted casual raiding. LFR didn’t fill that role properly, flex raiding did.
Right they merged the lockouts and difficulty which killed a large segment of raiding that had become quite popular in wrath. And LFR didn’t bring that back.
Okay I leave it like that because its more productive to talk to a rock at this point. Your opinion is pretty fixed about lfr and this is just an useless discussion
I think the most obvious change will be the dungeon multiple difficulties, they sure will implement both the nerfed and original version of the heroics.
Heroic+ prepared us for that.
And I’m not sure yet they will not change the raiding model to keep the model from WOTLK… that was a Cataclysm mistake to remove the casual raiding difficulty by making 10 man harder, which led to LFR and ultimately to the real proper fix, Flexible normal mode.
So, you just ignored the part of the cross-realm automation not being the issue then? Cross-realm is perfectly fine. You can group whenever you like to do whatever bosses you have not done before.
The issue has been and always will be everything else that was involved.
You know the “Watered-Down” part. You know… the 3 parts that are the issue. Has nothing to do with elitism… expecting you to get better to defeat a boss is not that… it is literal gaming 101. You start a new game, you suck, you lose to the boss, you get better, you beat the boss.
That’s fine, there’s a lot of elements of control in the game, you keep saying that like it’s automatically a bad thing. I’m explaining to you why just sticking a tool on top of regular raids would be a horrible idea.
the archeology suggestion is good, but none of those other things makes sense.
there is no way they will give us a race or class that retail doesn’t have. and cata already gives us more heirlooms so i don’t understand your suggestion on that.
