Still not supposed to be able to do that, according to patch notes and the not s bug list.
That’s why it is an exploit, even if a non-enforceable one.
It’s safe, but still goes against the intended functionality of the game.
Blizz just can’t fix it without making changes to the game. Not that they haven’t shown that they are fully willing to make changes to enforce playing the way they want us to.
Hmmmm it didn’t show the post I was replying too, I was talking about elemental mastery getting the cl and shock to both crit.
Nobody has “proven” the videos wrong.
Just because a blue said it was in the “client” doesn’t mean they are right.
How it worked in vanilla and how it works now are two different things.
Now reckoning doesn’t matter a great deal as it’s a gimmick, it’s more the fact blizzard are making changes to a game that shouldn’t have changes.

My favorite part is the only ones crying in defense of Blizz trying to act like they didn’t just break paladins are f***ing rogues. Rogues, warriors, mages, spriests, locks are so ungodly OP it’s not even funny. Let us have functioning talents.

Of course, reck pally is the counter class to a rogue.
I could understand being 1 shot by someone they attempted to stun lock making them feel some kind of way.
How ever we should be looking at the bigger picture, once a change is made then the doors are open to more changes.

The bigger picture is you’re playing a 15 year old game where everything was known ahead of time. There will be no changes. The only person you have to blame if yourself for your own poor decisions.
I picked my classes based on my prior knowledge of the game. Ironically, Paladin would be my #1 if Horde could roll them. But I would never play useless Ret.

And thats exactly the point LOL no changes! So why are they “hotfixing” things that existed 15 years ago?? You could find videos with one simple youtube search of genuinely classic timeframe reckbomb compilations

The interaction with HoJ and the macro was giving extra, unintended attacks stored up that didn’t exist in Vanilla. They fixed it. End of discussion.
What’s hoj interaction that works with all melee using stop/start have to do with reckoning being changed?

Because reckoning and this bug for hoj are two different things.
I played a paladin in past. You lost stacks if you hit attack and weren’t in range… that’s how it was.
Reckoning today is better, way better. You kids are spoiled.

In the past… in vanilla though that’s not how it worked.
I played it in vanilla and it didnt randomly drop stacks and also switching target didn’t drop stacks.

It dropped it when you hit attack and were too far, it dropped it sometimes on CC vs you. It was buggy mess.
Most annoyingly they never had an icon to tell you stacks iirc so often you had to get add on and pray it’s accurate.
