Fishing is still broken. I just tried in Tanaris and am having empty loot windows and no “Fish got away” messages. I just completed the max-level fishing quest from Nat Pagle yesterday and today is the first time I’ve had this problem, possibly related. Horde, Atiesh server, 225/300 fishing, L41, using a +20 pole and +75 lures. Blizzard, you need to reply to this thread please??

On Mankrik Alliance, fishing in Azshara with 420 skill (bobber + pole), and I’m getting empty loot windows 100% of the time, not a single fish caught. Last night I was doing just fine here, would love to actually get a response that Blizzard is at least aware of the issue.
Yup fishing is broken after recent update. Just the empty window every cast. What private server is this again?
I’m on the coast of Tanaris right now and can only catch stuff from pools. Anything outside of the pool will just show an empty window. 334 skill.
I received an answer to my ticket for this issue
“Hello Dan This is Tech Specialist Amanda. I understand you are having troubles with fishing in Tanaris. I’ve seen a few report sof this and for Feralas. Some players have had success disabling addons and being able to fish. This is a bug that is being looked into and I’m afraid I do not have a solid workaround or an ETA on when it will be fixed up. If you have not already, I do recommend sending a bug report in through the in-game report system. I’ve also added the information on my end.”

Fishing in my go-to spot in Azshara was working fine for the last week or so. Woke up this morning to do some fishing before work and the loot tables are empty on every cast. Very annoying.
This didn’t work for me at all, no matter what, I get no fish in Tanaris, Feralas and Azshara. Although I can actually fish in the inland rivers in Feralas, so I wonder if it’s actually the oceans in those zones that are broken.
9/16/19 Bug is still active, just arrived at Revantusk Village and fishing from the docks into open water gives empty loot windows. Currently at 225 Fishing with Bright Bauble, Fishing Glove Enchant, and Big Iron Fishing Pole Equipped.
Just broke for me, wasn’t broken previously. 300 fishing+aquadynamic fish attractor+nat pagle’s extreme angler rod (425 fishing total). Catching fish but empty loot box at Bay of Storms in Azshara.
Did you test after the reset from an hour ago and it’s still broken?
I could fish yesterday, didn’t test today before the reset but after the restart it is definitely broken.

Yeah I tested in Bay of Storms this morning and it was broken… ugh, sweet, an entire profession is broken and Blizzard hasn’t said a word yet about it lol

Had this happen to me a few days ago in Feralas (fishing broken on coast and river) and the Hinterlands, but could fish in the river in Azshara. Today the server reset earlier and I went to Tanaris and am sitting here getting nothing but empty windows. 300 fishing + Nat Pagle’s Extreme Angler FC-5000 + lure
I am experiencing this in Tanaris today. Started just when the server restart was announced and is still not functional.
I fished yesterday just fine and a couple times today before the reset. After the reset I am fishing up empty bags. Pools still produce loot.
Same issue in Tanaris, fished from a school and got loot, then just get empty loot window
