… That was not fun to rush this quickly because of the small prepatch time window.
Ah, well. Server first 60 BElf priest.
42 hour a week job - and I can play at work.
So, Blizzard? Now that I’ve done this, I want to say: What were you thinking? This is waaaaay too short of a prepatch. I felt rushed every last bit of time. People with kids are royally in trouble.
Update: For those who can’t common sense:
My argument is they said they’d give people PLENTY of time to level. I had to no-life for 8 days with a job where I can play at work.
Other people aren’t going to have this luxury, period. For most people, this is not PLENTY of time. This is, “Pay us $40.00.”

For those of you who STILL don’t get this - here’s the math from a later post:
Exactly. I got there in 5 days and 2 hours of play-time, that’s why I took the screen shot.
In 8 days - 192 hours of things being active (excluding long maintenance). I spent 122 of those hours playing. We should, more accurately, assume 7 days, because 3 AM prepatch.
Which is - 168 hours of time of patch being out. 122 of those hours playing.
You’d have to spend 72% of your time playing to have done this stupidity by the time today.
If you double this - high ball. 122 hours, assumed. You have to spend 36% of EVERY SINGLE DAY to play this. Which means more than 8 hours a day (more) if you want to make it to the tabard and level 60 before prepatch. This is, literally: “Give us $40.00.”
Further Edit:
This is not the result of boosting (paying for runs). I ran only two dungeons - SFK and BFD for the robe and wand. All the rest of it was questing. This is, typically, how a new player will level and the time it would take them to do so. My times are related to such and as a priest.
