Perhaps in FF they just enjoy the game and end game. not like engame wow. endgame wow is neverending grinding gear.
At least at SL profession not very important like back in lich king.
Why wow comunity so toxic with new player, coz they ar still progressing Gear Farming valor etc2 so can reach Best in slot. Which is that best in slot will be grind again at next season. Never ending gringding gear.

I’d like to know who people refer to when they say Blizzard doesn’t care. Ion? Bobby? Everyone working for Blizzard? Activision Blizzard? Blizzard Entertainment? Some backend developer who just does what they’re told?

Nothing different, Back then they don’t have to answer to major shareholder, because they don’t have that many company invest money on them, their only profit and money making is from customer like you.
Only ways to keep you buying their product is to make good games, now major corporates investment million upon million onto the gaming company, they expect you to pump out profit from all this investment.

Sadly that is what it’s become.
Nintendo is turning into that now ever since Iwata died. That man took the spirit of the company with him that grim day.
They’re not going to give the IP away, there is no way. If this game dies, that’s it. They might use the IP for other stuff, but World of Warcraft would be gone forever.
A lot of people care more about WoW than Blizzard does.

Warcraft is an IP that Blizzard won’t be able to take to its grave.
Maybe not, but if it dies and returns it won’t be any time soon. We’d play the game again when we’re old men pooping in our pants.
Others have kept galaxies alive.
Others will keep WoW alive when it dies.
Its just rotting horribly in Blizzards undying grip.
