Dark Souls 2 isn’t a bad game. It’s the worst Dark Souls game, but it’s still a solid game on its own and is the largest in terms of PvE.

FFXIV needs to unlock all jobs (classes). No more level requirements with boring jobs to unlock cool jobs (classes). They also need streamline their main story questline and beginner quest.
I manage to get my “main” to level 27 before giving up do to utter boredom.
I mean I can kind of see how that dude thought we’d all like phone games… Warcraft is nothing but logging in and doing chores everyday like you’d do on the phone on the toilet.
Gotta grind out that currency for the next loot box.

But… they already did. The base classes automatically get changed into the upgraded job with a level 30 job quest, they don’t require a specific second class at 15 to unlock anymore. And the new jobs all start at a higher level and with no base class.
And they already did streamline the MSQ and new player stuff. It’s a lot shorter.

It’s not about “fan boys,” OP made a blanket statement based on his experience. He can’t speak for everyone, is what is entertaining, is subjective. Now back to Total War Warhammer 2.

I am the same, the game is terrible, I have heard this is because there is no “new player” option and its like comparing classic wow to now… but even then game is terrible imo.

its not a bad game per see but after the MSQ is done game it just become another wow with more conveniences, ok pve and zero pvp.
Sure there is rp and housing system but my interest for those are literally null.
