FF14 fad didn't last long

There’s the data specifically for FF14

There are actually a large number of legit RP guilds and servers on 14. Course there are plenty of sex cults and strip clubs to. Legit strip clubs. Run as if they are irl.

Which means absolutely nothing without any context

Yes ONE building in ONE server VS a vast community in multiple places.

On a related note I found this video and I think it fits:

You’re not understanding me.
Where is your source for total numbers, not Steam.
FFXIV is played on more platforms than Steam.

For anyone wanting to try FF, they’re having a sale. Check in the off topic section for the thread.

Indeed it is but in much better taste. Some of the house brothels are run like legit businesses. It’s kinda amazing the detail they pull off.

I do.
Just note that if you buy it from SE website, you can’t play it on steam.

Care to explain the deep meaning this had for me then?

Oh look, you’re doing that thing again where you completely dodge the point and give me a non-reply. Can’t say I’m shocked. About the only thing I can respect about you is your consistency, too bad it’s a consistent trend with you that’s so unbearably infuriating.

They already refused to settle. California has no reason to settle either, they have an open and shut case. There is no point for them to take less of what they can win out of this. Keep in mind too, it’s CALIFORNIA. They will make an example of Blizzard.

Yeah you keep seeming to forget that this is completely different than any other circumstance. Either your willful ignorance, or just being this horribly blind. Still trying to figure out which.

Riot Games wasn’t under a two year state investigation, didn’t completely botch their public responses, and took action immediately.

Also speak of the devil, guess what also got announced today? Riot Games is also actually being sued by the state of California. No this isn’t the one from years back, this is relevant as of now.

California is going to make an example of any gaming companies that have problems.

Oooooh, got it. Ready comprehension is apparently a failure point of mine today.

I don’t truly have an opinion on the game myself. It has no bestial races so my interest is sadly very low. :pensive:

Edit: Though as an after thought and one thing to keep in mind, you can access FF14 through Steam or a separate launcher. For example, I wouldn’t show up on the Steam metrics at all. I’m not sure if New World has that, too.

Either way, so long as there are other good games out there to play, population doesn’t matter to me much. I’m happy to see all sorts of new things, even if they aren’t up to my taste.

From the release of Shadowbringers. Not 2.0 to Shadowbringers.

FF14 was really down low and in it’s own tiny circle until their last expansion Shadowbringers being an absolute 10/10 expansion and it brought in a ton of players due to no other good MMO out there and WoW players were burnt out with how bad BFA was. Current wave is players like me who realize that Blizz is gonna listen to absolutely nobody on changes on their game and horrible systems. And players who quit due to the lawsuit and Blizz being full of sexpests.

You’re not understanding me. I specified on steam, the article I linked referenced steam, and the data I provided was from steam.

Nowhere did I say anything about numbers that didn’t involve steam

Steam is the only place to play New World afaik. I didn’t even know FF14 was on steam because it has it’s own launcher like Bnet.

I try to log in and do my daily roulettes over my morning coffee.
There’s a line to log in at 8 am.

Wow really number 74

When I see FFXI look like old Ironforge on a Friday night, then I’ll be impressed

Yeah, using Steam numbers as any sort of metric is simply flawed. Especially when games are available on several other platforms.

What the hell are you smoking? The 400 spaces in the chest is nothing once you start gearing multiple jobs. If you’re seriously trying to convince yourself that ff14’s glamour system is better than wow’s transmog system then you’re blatantly lying to yourself. The only advantage ff14 glamour system has is not really and advantage imo but if that’s your thing, then yea, you can mog a plate wearer into a cloth wearer. So that’s added flexibility but at the cost of your lore role.

Buying it on the square website blocks you from getting it on steam. I wish you could link your accounts :frowning:
