FF14 fad didn't last long

No, WoW puts WoW to shame.

I logged in last night and was placed on queue. A friend also had to wait to make a character on Mateus for the same reason. :man_shrugging:

Need I remind you, troll, of the Warlords of Draenor and Cataclysm exodus?

i dps constantly as heals, always have. WHM still feels boring and slow to me, so i can see why people would say that. AST in particular just has way more for you to do with all of the card mechanics, you’re not relegated to just pressing stone 50 times in between heals. i love WHM overall but i really wish they had a bit more to it, is all. even refreshing multiple dots was better than it is now (but not cleric stance, that can stay gone forever)

What is your reasoning behind this, it is a far deeper system than transmog…14 you can change and dye to whatever color you want, not locked to certain gear as you play every class.

In WoW it cost a crap ton of gold just to change, and you have to roll different classes to even get all the transmog in the first place. You keep all mogs in the chest, plenty of space for all the mogs you need.

WoW is the apitimy of getting gear and not unlocking its mog. The hell are you smoking?

Uh no, your investors taking you to court over completely shafting their investment is a pretty big deal and if the trend continues they’re in some serious legal trouble. Companies can be outright ripped out from their owners if the investors can prove in court they’re not utilizing every tax loophole or wage cut that shorts their profits.

If Tesla stock hadn’t ballooned as a response of the Joe Rogan interview and actually plummeted as a result he would not have any control of his company once it went to court. They threatened him with it but well as I said, stock ballooned as a result so they had no case in court to argue not honoring his obligation to them because their profits only increased.

Yeah, and each of these didn’t go because they could point to the whales and say “Yeah but look, we’re making more money than we were before!!!” It’s a whole different ball game with the fact this story is so widespread that even my boomer grandmother is asking me if I heard about “the company that makes that game you used to play is getting sued by California”. Keep in mind this is a lady who refuses to use cars with cameras when backing up because she thinks it’ll spy on her, or won’t order things on Amazon because she thinks they’ll steal her credit card info.

Nah if this doesn’t blow over, this investor lawsuit is going to actually ream the company.

But keep telling yourself it’s “nothing to worry about, this is normal.” This is definitely not normal, and like I said, unlike the other instances where stock buckled because WoW subs declined or they had a bad BlizzCon and could point to the microtransaction revenue, this is actively so far reaching YouTubers who don’t even play WoW are covering it, some with very large fanbases and a lot of influence.

You have absolutely no idea how screwed Blizzard is unless they can actually prove all these allegations as blatant falsehood. Doesn’t help they botched their public statements following in multiple ways and destroyed any faith people had in them except the sycophants like yourself.

Well I do think one thing to keep in mind here is that New World isn’t available to everyone (unless I’m mistaken?) so folks are likely tuning in to check it out and see what the hype is about.

Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t me bashing on it; I genuinely hope it’s a good game because Heavens know we need good games right now after years of Anthems, Fallout 76s, and Cyberpunks. But the numbers on Twitch may be inflated just due to it not currently being available to everyone.

Lets compare.

If I want to find Rp in WoW I just head to Stormwind look for an RPer and walk up.

In FFXIV if I want to RP I have to be part of a guild, part of a clique, or join 900+ Discords in the hopes of joining one. UNLESS of course I enjoy “Goldshire RP” in which case I do not have to go more than three steps.

In WoW I have an almost unlimited amount of transmog options available for me and those are available to me always and not just on that character but on the whole account.

FFXIV, a limited Glamor system that means that if you want to use an obscure look years after you unlocked it you better have hoped you held onto it.

WoW: Has billions of addons avaiable to help improve RP.

FFXIV: If you get caught with an RP addon you get banned.

Heck even for a while there was a Dev BANNING players FOR RPing.

They’ll always be an initial peak and then decline. Look at Valheim’s steam chart data. Went from 500k concurrent players to 20k.

So, the lawsuit from shareholders is to recoup losses suffered, look it up, this is NORMAL for any publicly traded compnt.
Blizzard will settle the state lawsuit and eat the PR hit.
People will forget and move on like they always do.
Evidence? Riot Games.

This. New World numbers mean nothing until, like a year after launch.

Those numbers are actual concurrent players, not viewers.

So for steam at least, New World had 3 x the amount of actual concurrent players than FF14 had.

When the most known thing about WoW RP is Goldshire Inn, that just kills your entire argument. 95% of WoW RP is sex cults.

And for someone who has not played 14 of any proper time, if at all, and definetly not end game, you sure are getting bad information about 14’s RP goings on.

Source?
Because those numbers aren’t public lol.

Actually, steam concurrent players are pretty public

Here is FF14 player numbers for the last few years

There always ques. Even before the ‘fad’ It how FF14 server are.
Instead of allowing everyone on once, it tunnel people. Normally my ques are under 20 and i’m in less then 30secoends.
The ff14 devs/Yoship have apologize and said they are going to slight increase the max allowed players in each instance soon. I think they already did that in EU servers.
_

Stay away from Balmung. That literally Moon Guard but more wide spread.

Pretty sure thats applies too literally all RP online.

Which is NOT a representation of overall population. Not even close actually.
So again, source to support your claim?

Who plays FF14 on Steam? I didn’t even know that was an option.

FF14 is an ERP game too. There’s nothing wrong with that.
