I’ve tried to do it a few times and nope. It just doesn’t work out for me. The gameplay is so actively unfun that I just can’t force myself into the “good parts”.
I couldnt get to used to the camera in eso.
It was an okay game but it just felt so off
It does pick up at higher levels, but a lot of people get confused (especially those who start on pugilist) when they hit button > don’t see damage because of the way their first ability works. It hits 3 times and you see the damage roughly 1sec after hitting. Damage, to the game, is already calculated though.
wait wait stay those heckin catgirls need your support, don’t abandon them now! and the cute bois with their tight tight clothing, hold on dont go you need to sing their praises noooooo
I did that. Had to create a new character cause I didn’t know what the hell was happening at one point.
ffxiv has a new game plus feature once you finish a realm reborn you can replay the entire main story , its what i did after skipping a lot of the stuff and not knowing
and that’s a perfectly valid opinion to have, I absolutely understand if anyone can’t bring themselves to stick with it, because at the end of the day even if you do get to the “good part” there’s no guarantee you’ll enjoy that either
if you go to your inn room (it’s been so long since I started a new character I don’t remember if the tutorial covers that) you can rewatch any cutscene at the book on the nightstand
Its not made for players who dont want to read i agree. Lore setup is a long lost art in WOW and thankfully they have not abandoned story telling in FFXIV
Maybe the “world” and “craft” sections of the name.
Ah yes, another Sunday thread.
Yeah a game with Warcraft in its name focuses on combat too much.
WAR IN THE NAME
Combat is by far the best thing about WoW.
Other MMO’s might have dungeons and raids, but no MMO feels nearly as pleasing to do dungeons and raids in compared to WoW.
So is World yet they’re turning it into a lobby q game so the name means nothing.
Yeah, I have a time with the camera too. But it’s probably because my brain is expecting for things to be like the stand alone game.
Maybe a game based on war and conflict isn’t for you then
Obviously I’m not saying remove all combat. What I’m saying is they focus way to much on combat and the “3 pillars” of the game. In the process they leave the rp and world elements to die. There needs to be a balance. Also the faction war is overdone and irrelevant.
Just from what I’ve seen from these forums over the past few weeks, it seems like the smart thing to do is play FF for the story. And once you finish that, you close your account and continue playing WoW until FF releases a new expansion. Rinse and repeat.
Anyone know if it’s possible to finish the story in a month? I stopped after completing ARR, so if I can jump in and see the rest before the 30 days is up, that would be rad.
I mean, you’re not entirely wrong. A lot of people play the game solely for its story. The producer even said that it’s an FF game first and an MMO second and he encourages people to take breaks during content droughts.
That being said, there are still loads of things to do once you’re done with the story.
You cannot say that considering armor in wow literally painted on your body
This topic will close 2 months after the last reply.
anyone else see this? is it some new feature they added to the forums or something?
