Demo has instant cast spells and they don’t have to be at melee range all the time.
And of course target swaps which punish ferals significantly more than pretty much any other class.
Yes casters can plan for some movement GCDs, but no caster can move like melee and still do full dps, I don’t know why you would even argue this.

Yeah at the end of the day regardless of whether demo or feral is marginally harder feral is a hard enough rotation it should not be dead last by a large margin in end result.
im happy demo lock is doing really well on the meters complex rotation actually pays off.
We are just want Feral damage to be competitive especially with the complexity of the rotation. Is that to much to ask???
Feral druids dps should be removed from warcraft logs and turned into tank role if they don’t plan on buffing the class.

The druids in the Discord and the Feral youtubers screwed this up for feral druids.
They were 1000% sure mono cat ferals were going to perform average after losing clear casting glyph and they ended up causing most ferals in wrath to quit the game because they were “sure” they didn’t need it.
Now you only see bear weaving druids that love being last in damage for the sake of playing feral
right play super sweaty and you might break middle of the pack if your playing with sub par players!!!

HoR was bad. Tfury was a tank weapon and useless otherwise. Glaives were extremely low drop rate and you should’ve seen what rogues were doing with them. Thori’dal is an irrelevant argument given that it’s not even good for hunters since you lose the damage bonus from ammo. Shadowmourne was the only thing that made our class playable. Any warrior without shadowmourne was literally gutter-tier. And mid-pack with it for the vast majority of warriors.
And blame blizzard for making all the plate absolutely terrible statwise.
You wouldn’t wear an entire set of leather with hit/expertise or hit/crit on every piece. Why do you expect warriors to wear an entire set of plate with those stats? And less attack power because they limited the amount of strength on those items too.
Feral needs a buff there is absolutley no reason why feral is so far behind on the damage
They aren’t that far behind on damage. You’re like 2-3k dps behind overall. Nobody had an issue when the #1 warrior parse was doing less damage than udk gargoyle on the same fight.
2-3k behind overall we are #20 of 22 dps classes that is absurd especially for the complexity of the classes rotation blizz already said they dont want feral dps bearweaving!!! but Bearweaving is needed!!! Stop bringing up warriors we dont care about warrior from TBC or Wrath this is cata
You aren’t #20 of 22. Stop lying jesus man. The only way you’re that low as feral is if you’re literally gray parsing. In which case it’s called a MASSIVE skill issue. So try to “git gud” as they say.
look at the WCL logs feral druids where ranked above MM hunters and Frost mages
I’m looking right now, at the 90th percentile, you are beating BM, MM, Arcane, and Frost, behind Sub by 100 dps, behind Fury by less than 1k dps (a spec that only performs by snapshotting with an entirely different set of gear), and behind Fire mage by 7000. Fire mage is also 2000 dps ahead of the next best spec being unholy. So you are 5k dps behind the top 3 specs as a class with 4 roles (tank, healer, mdps, rdps) and a boatload of utility including innervate and brez.
