The secret felcycle requires previous secrets to unlock. I dunno why this is surprising. And this isn’t even the first time they’ve done something like this, where a secret requires older secrets to unlock.
I definitely get people not liking having pet battles thrown in. Im not a fan myself, even though i mess around with it enough to collect stuff, but i can power through some things i dont like to get through the secrets.
The sticking point for me personally is this watcher puzzle and i may just stop trying for the cycle because of it

I’m just waiting for one of these secrets to come up that requires the judgment of a TRP3 RP profile for your character where you have to RP walk up to an NPC and convincingly roleplay out, in /say and /emote, debating with them to get you past the step, using impeccable spelling and grammar and a lore-accurate accent for the race that you play. Then I’ll just cackle.
Yeah not doing this secret, thanks blizz, no interest in pet battles, not a single one at level 25.

Just look the strat up on wow head and follow it. Bam you’re done.
Also wait until you get to the glazer/watcher puzzle. That’ll make steam come out your ears
Pet battles have needed an overhaul/rework for a long time and that’s why so many hate this part.
I’ma be honest. The pet battle is very easy - And like. Oh well they made it a weird challenge. That’s ok. If anything it’s relevant because it’s all part of secret finding.

hate to let you know you’re not as cool as you wish you were, but there has definitely been a level of skill involved in much of the content up until modern times.
Now the game has virtually nothing to do with skill. Sorry that you’re a SL baby.

No you have to do past secrets to get them

The ultimate problem is tied to a simple fact. A lot of people keep their pet slots blank to disincentivize forum / armory stalkers. Yet once pets are slotted in, they cannot be removed. EVER. Only replaced. Thus many will never even bother with this cycle. This step needs to be removed.

Oh man 7 is brutal. Even with tools it’s tedious AFFFF. makes 5 look like a cakewalk.

I have not gone through entire list I just know that one is stupid easy to get, level to 25/Blue, cage and sell.
So people wont do this step because they want to be weird on the WoW forums? 
I must have been in the wrong place because I couldn’t find any of the Eldreth Darters. I got my sac from my sister, who is a hoarder and had three of them leftover from years ago. I’ll use your info and see if I can get one to pay her back.

How does that work? If you have pets, how does that attract or enable armory stalking? I have never known about this.

People use pets to track players through alts on the forum since the number, types and make up of your pet collection is difficult to duplicate between different players. Which means if you find someone posting under multiple characters, but who all share the same battle pet collection, then chances are they’re all the same person posting under multiple characters.
That being said, I’m not sure why these people don’t just make their forum profile private. Or better yet, just stop trolling others by pretending to be different people.
