RP Realm 16 - Plenty of people in the human starting area that you had to do some competing for mobs but had a chance.
PvP Realm 3 - Don’t even bother in the Dwarf/Gnome or Human starting areas unless you want to kill critters. Too many people. Character select screen doesn’t always show characters unless you try to make a new one.
Server 3 suddenly got REAL laggy.
Was on 14, was busy but not enough that I couldn’t make it to 5 before the majority of servers where taken offline.
When I was forced to move to 15 because there was only two servers up it became nearly impossible to even tag mobs for the first quest even in a group so much so that I can’t be bothered to continue.
Hopefully the other servers will be opened again at some point or I doubt I will bother to continue to play the stress test at all.
I was on Realm 4 and was having fun! No lag and logging in was smooth but I wish I could of saved my screen Option and not have to fool around with it. The Zone was not too crowded but a little empty but that is normal when you just start and everyone is standing around and going through setting and grouping up before starting or people headed straight for the quest to just see the slow text in their faces, LOL!
In about 30mins, Fun ends when Realm 4 went down and with the rest of the servers but 2 others. Wish I started on them and not wasted my starting experience.
When the real Realm List is out and I know it will not get suddenly shut down, I will be happy again.
Was too crowded i left start zone with my level 1 gnome. Was only able to tag one wolf.

Was on PVP server because the original #1 i was playing on (Normal) was apparently shut down.
Server 2 was pretty empty until the servers were taken offline. Other than that, for the short time I was in, everything seemed normal.
Normal, but empty.
EDIT: also had 2000+ ms latency the whole time even though other websites/games are fine, so I don’t think it’s my network.
I’m on realm 15 and it is overwhelmingly crowded. My poor lil’ Gnome can’t get a tag on anything. At least on live servers tags are shared. I’m not getting past quest one any time soon.
Currently when I try to log in, it’s just 100 people all running in place and then I disconnect after 5 seconds.

Wasn’t too crowded when you had all servers (I was on 13). Way too crowded with just the two (now on 15)
Realm 3:
Starting areas are super populated, slowly getting better, but the lag is picking up. Was able to group up to get a few kill quests done in durotar, but overall a stressful experience paired with lag, hoping for day 1 to be smoother. (and for the layers to work a tad better.)
Btw, I started on Realm 12. It was busy, but you could level. After shutting down to 2 servers, created a NE on Realm 3. Couldn’t do anything but hope things spawned while in group. Made a Tauren on Realm 15. Didn’t even try questing since there were so many other players there. Not playing anymore for now. May try again later. I enjoyed the first two stress tests.

Realms 3 and 15 - the only ones available at the time.
15-20 minute spent in the Dwarven starter area on one server and the same amount of time spent in the Undead area on another realm.
Total quest kills - one wolf.
Rolled a caster class in each area (mage and warlock) and could not tag anything by casting. By the time a cast was half completed, 3 other players were on the mob.
The one wolf I tagged spawned on top of me and I hit it with my stick.
I was about 10 mins late. (Sorry had to shower to enjoy this.)
1.Started on #14 in Mulgore. Server said medium pop when I started. Seemed like there was a good amount of people just spread out. Plenty of mobs everywhere. No real competition at all.
2. Went to #3. Everything is dead in Mulgore. There are more tauren than there are mobs in the entire zone. Felt way over crowded. Elysium launch didn’t feel this overcrowded in the orc starting zone. Thin the herd.
Edit to add:The sweet spot is in between these two servers.
Realm 3 - Mulgore:
-Extreme competition for spawns
-Minor lag
-Character screen has significant lag after logging out
I can’t sell anything in Dolanaar now. Server 3 is all but locked up.
Played on Realm13 (all time Eastern US)
5:15 Login good, Human Priest, all Solo
5:18 Completed wolf meat quest
5:25 Completed Kobold Vermin quest
5:27 Disconnected
There were plenty of wolves vs players, I did not have to wait for spawns
For Kobolds, I had to wait for respawns, but had each respawn to myself.
I very much enjoyed that. Seemed almost right, could have held a few more people.
6:12 Logged into Realm15, Human Priest again
6:22 unable to do anything. all mobs instakilled. got one wolf and one Kobold in my 10 minutes. So that would be about 3 hours to finish those 2 quests. Not acceptable
6:25 Logged into Realm15, Night Elf Druid
This starting zone was possibly even worse, all mobs dead and respawn seemed slower. I got no kills. until disconnect

I was trying to set up on Realm 1 but it went offline. Then I started a paladin on Realm 3 and it was so crowded I couldn’t do anything. I logged out and created a druid and it was much less crowded but it was so laggy I couldn’t interact with anything. Looting, talking to NPCs and everything like that was completely unusable. I couldn’t even log out for like 2 minutes when I tried. I’m now creating toons on Realm 15 to see if it’s better.

I don’t feel there were enough players on the servers but at the same time the spawn rate seems to be much lower than I remember.
Side note: I do not have a map. I was d/c’d while taking the boat (with no NPC’s) so I was forced to relog. Still no map. I relogged deliberately and still have no map.
