premades. we’ve been saying they need to break it or put a 5 man cap for same groups.
The equitable solution is to revert this change to how it was Thursday. Instead create a “factionless” solo queue, with equal parts alliance and horde on each side of the battle on a random rotation of AB/WSG/EOTS.
^ someone who gets it.
i wouldn’t have any issue with having horde and alliance mixed on the same team if it keeps queue times reasonable… and i’ll report an afk NE just as fast as i report those walking steaks!
The problem that caused this is alliance sucking and nobody wanting to play it. No change in the world would make me want to play a human. Sorry for your loss.
My horde mate literally whispered me today already saying he pugged a few games and everytime he started to lose ppl started to afk or leave the game.
Welcome to ally pvp, welcome to instant queues, where it does not really matter if you afk a game here or there cause of instant queues.
Enjoy your losing streak…
Imagine thinking that afking or quitting is an alliance trait and not a player trait that kicks in as soon as people can just requeue for another game instantly after losing one.
My hope is that this is just a ploy to get the stubborn horde PvPers to faction transfer.
Give them insta-queues for a weekend. Give them a taste of the unbloated queue times. Then turn it off and state that the whole idea was scrapped and will not be coming back.
Then open paid or free faction transfers.
So good. Just remove being able make a 15 man premade and it would be perfect!
Can we please have AV for same faction battlegrounds or at least give Alliance a chance to start from the horde side or you know make some changes so alliance isn’t at such a disadvantage due to terrain being easier from one direction than another or being impossible to defend or starting farther away.
So you cancelled your subscription because you might be affected? I’m not really sure the game is for you if that’s all it takes for you to stop playing.
The problem is players aren’t rewarded for participating. If a player goes 100% while half the team doesn’t they get a game that takes longer to lose while getting the same honor as those who stood milling around. The game doesn’t reward players who actually try and as time goes on fewer players try. If the losing side gets 80% of the points than other side gets they should get significantly more reward than if they got 0 points.
thanks a ton! love the mask had lots of fun.
Been playing for 17 years, there not might about it, seen it all before.
Well I’m confused. This change was never made in TBC so how have you seen this all before?
If you are going to quit about a change that might affect you, how many times have you quit then? Every week?
I’m surprised that removing the only downside to playing horde is welcomed by horde players! More news at 11.
it happened in a different xpansion, same thing.
But you didn’t quit then.
My queue time for AV increased from less than 3 minutes to over 10 minutes.
This was an awesome change! Please keep it, I have a reason to pvp again!
Queue times are amazing actually playing BGs for the first time this expansion. Thank you blizzard for this change.
Thank you all so much for this one. A fantastic experience on the whole.
