If everyone wants to play horde that’s their choice. It’s also their choice to deal with longer queues as a result. There is already a faction population imbalance (at least 65:35 on average), same faction BG queues further lessen the incentive to go alliance. Why would you reward horde for a problem they knowingly (or ignorantly, it doesn’t really matter) created? Give them the option to go alliance for quicker queues if that’s more important to them than their racial choice, the queue problem will eventually sort itself out when the faction populations balance out. Free horde > alliance transfers are THE long term solution. Don’t further destroy the faction population imbalance for a choice horde players made. Think long term for the health of the game!

EOTS/AB/WSG are now all dominated by Horde premade groups. The alliance couldn’t win when it was against pugs, but now every other game is vs. horde premade group.
I don’t think there is any alliance pvp player that has “patriotic identity”.
Proposed solution, disable group queues, and make everyone solo queue. Mix horde/alliance on both sides with your mask system. Then we’ll have an equitable solution.
Well Horde will still have Alterac Valley and World PvP for you that like to RP the “faction war”. AB/WSG/EOTS can be made netural PvP and just have all players in the pool.
Thank you very much Blizzard. I was regretting having to look for another game while I raid logged for TBCC but now I can actually do what I wanted to do all along. I hope this change remains permanent it is amazing.
I agree haha I was still able to do arena and do well with or without the BGSs im actually surprised blizzard went and played into that BS and spoon fed our faction but oh well most of them are terrible And jumped on the horde bandwagon and it shows. My only wish is the premade thing get worked out but if they don’t than ill just group with my realm and get the rest of the set since it’ll help anyway. Either way let’s see how they do in arena

Blizzard, I guess this is what you wanted since you hate Alliance. I’m done with PVP in this game.
So can I get a refund on my boost I wasted on alliance yet? Or free transfer to horde for my alliance characters since you removed the only reason I chose to roll alliance?
I thought alliance premades were bad… 22 games of various BGs today with over 3/4 of them being against horde premades. If people want to group up there should be a feature where they may face a longer queue time and also face another group. That allows the ‘point’ of premades, organised PVP while not disadvantaging casual players who can’t manage to play more than 2 minutes of pvp before being overwhelmed and 5-capped. PVP matches lasting less than 5 minutes isn’t good for PVP.
so from what i keep seeing, the only reason most of you here rolled alliance was because you need a long time gate to stop the other side from gearing at the same pace as you? interesting.
the only thing making these server imbalances is people quitting.
you, along with others saying the same thing, are far mistaken if you think that many people would actually leave friends, their time invested toons, gold, etc. just to reroll for faster bg queue times. guildies and other players in discussions said they’d quit playing altogether, rather than reroll… but you’d still be happy because… time gates.
