Feedback: Same-Faction Battlegrounds Test

YOU,Blizzard, promise us, you wont change anything, but why test the same-faction battlegroung? If you can change your promise, can you add token coin in the AH? also, boost service, race change service, etc.

no, the ones with common sense have been advocating against any premade, alliance or horde.

they’ll likely break premades at some point. then other horde will cry about how it’s not fair to them to not be able to play with their friends. then blizz will patch it to allow it again. welcome to the casual experience, horde. being thrown to the wolves by blizz.

We’re basically overrun with premades now.

At least before there weren’t that many premades, yes the 1 hour queues were bad, but there weren’t that many alliance premades.

Now, feels like 2 out of 3 games is horde premades with tons of PVE/PVP gear.

The queues are popping in under a minute or two, but the games are just mostly bad…

BIG NO. You destroy the game.

Quick everyone complain about horde premades now! Keep changing the game for the worse, at least it’ll die off quicker that way.

Killing premades would literally only be a positive.

Premades have been a cancer on the game since Phase 2 of classic vanilla.

They never should have let people queue with more than 5 people in a party. No raids.

Need to have everything pander to the horde. If something inconveniences the horde it has to go, I understand man! Keep changing the game until it’s retail.

It’s literally just horde running the premades now by and large.

wait til they realize that blizz always caters to the hardcore players and doesn’t give a single kek about the casual experience. the fact you have to have rating to buy the first few seasons of tbcc gear when it wasn’t like that in actual tbc is a huge clue that they seem to not want to face. lol

Love the new change! However Honest feedback below:

Over the years of playing WoW you build a habit of opening the map and in a split second analyzing the objectives often sorting it by colour. Playing from the opposite side has one major drawback that can be easily remedied. It feels unnatural to run to an objective with the wrong colour and as such it would be great that no matter what side of the battleground you play from your objectives are always the colour of your faction.
e.g. If you are a horde then your objectives on the map are always red, this is an easy client side fix as both sides will see their respective objective colours as it should be for them.

Other than that it is a welcome change.

Yeah because of faction imbalance. If there’s already more horde then you should deal with more horde forming groups to pvp. This is exactly how it was going to play out.

This is an incredible change, PvP is actually playable for hordeside now. I really really hope this sticks around after the test.

sitting in queue for an hour and a half just to play a single BG is a bit more than an “inconvenience”

Yes I knew that, and that’s partially why I thought this would end up poorly.

Horde wasn’t running premades with 1 hour queues.

Now with instant queues the tryhard horde guilds are just farming everyone else.

This fix should have been paired with reducing maximum group size to 5 (i.e. parties not raids) for queuing.

This was a predictable outcome that horde premades would basically take over most BGs once horde (the tryhard faction) got instant queues.

People giving up at the 1st sign of adversity was always an alliance trait with this change it will infect the horde as well. Breaking premades will be the new complaint. Changes like this are a slipper slope.

Also if this change goes live alliance is going to need some love or faction balance on pvp servers will be atrocious.

But now sitting afk after you find out your against a premade is just another issue. Hour long queues aren’t fun, so you get the change you wanted and now people are complaining about losing to horde premades.

Horde premades are a product of being able to queue faster which is what you all wanted. When horde start to lose they start to complain. One of the big arguments for this was being able to queue with your friends faster, but that doesn’t seem to be the case because you’re worried that horde playing the game together will make the game less enjoyable because you’re losing.

This is perfect! Was a breath of fresh air actually being able to play and not have to sit in Q an hour to face a premade.

Please please keep it like this!!! Just increase honor maybe by like 15-20% and it would be completely perfect
