A lot of us were around back in phase 3-4 of classic when the game was overrun by premades farming HWL/GM gear and titles.

The game was basically unplayable for PVP BGs unless you enjoyed just AFKing in ghost form in AB/WSG.

After phase 5, the premades mostly stopped and the BGs became playable because the gear wasn’t needed and few people were just farming the R13-14 titles; yes there was still premades but not as many to the point where you’d run into them constantly.

The problem with this “fix” to horde queues is now we’re just going to see horde premades basically take over TBC BGs until the end of the game because honor points are always needed.

There won’t ever really be a break from this, and that’s something that the devs should think about…

The obvious fix was always to just reduce maximum group size to 5 like what happened with AV where you can only queue in groups of 5 max.

Loving it. Alliance had instant queues, got all their gear from farming horde with their premades. They stopped queueing, we had no one to play against and now we have people to fight. BGs are great again.

The game experience is bad and game breaking, this will only cause more faction imbalance and negatively impacts the entire play experience. would not like to see this implemented ever again

YES! Bravo Blizzard for a job well done! Do not pay any mind to the alliance crybabies who only care for their own situation and not what is best for the game.

KEEP THIS IN GAME!

The only thing that is left to address is Alterac Valley and coming up with a way for horde to join into that within a reasonable queue time as well and we will be golden!

Blizzard this is the best change yet! Please keep it PERMANENTLY!
And don’t listen to any alliance trolls. They will get over it trust me. They have no choice.

As a idea to stem the consequences to alliance down the line, at this point just go the full monty and make bg’s same faction vs same faction ONLY. The pvp’rs can fight the pvprs and the afkrs can fight the afkrs.

Ab/wsg/eots can be “war games” and AV can be the “war”.

Even if alliance gets pushed out of pvp servers being at such a numbers disadvantage it won’t matter that much in bgs if its same faction only.

we’ve been complaining about breaking premades long before today. this is just showing exactly why premades need to go.

There is a 40%/60% split on PvP realms. There are 50% more Horde players on PvP servers than there are Alliance players. That is a big difference.
