Feedback: Same-Faction Battlegrounds Test

70 Horde on Kromcrush here. I really enjoyed the short que times. Had the most fun i’ve had in WoW in a long time. I also noticed that WAY more people were on running dungeons or questing too. I think overall it really was a positive experience for many, which translates to more money for Blizz, which is what Blizz is ultimately about.

This last weekend in TBC was exactly the kind of experience I’ve been craving since I played back in the day. This is my favorite game of all time, specifically TBC, and I am all about us enjoying it to the fullest on this second, and probably last time around.

Last week was the best WoW pvp experience we have had in a long time. it’s a shame it had to end.

Friday update: horde have high q times and the sky is blue.

LOL I’m sorry but the coping going on in this thread is seriously hilarious.

L…loo……look daddy blizz with this change it literally made everyone out in the world play the game more. I….it makes you money too!! Yup all those horde hyped about short q times logging in to do dungeons at the first chance they could

Final fantasy is really starting too sound good enough too try right about now :joy::rofl:. What you guys think?

HvH BGs is just the rich getting richer and the poor staying poor.

Yikes… It’s a video game… Anyone who rationalizes their way into thinking its ok for people to sit in a 1.5 hour queue to play a video game needs go outside.

And the same people who camped alliance flight paths for years needed to go outside as well.

They didn’t.

And chased the Alliance off of their servers.

I was Alliance during those times and apparently the only one who isn’t still butthurt about it.

I am happy that the people who play horde and enjoy bg’s are going to have more fun.

I am sad that the devs only care about bandaid fixing the larger faction while hastening the destruction of the smaller faction.

I hope the remaining alliance can continue to enjoy the game for as long as possible.

I doubt i will poke my head back in for wotlk, so have fun everyone.

I’ve started the free trial because of the queue times, and so far I really like it.
The endgame content seems to be very challenging and a lot of fun. Me and my friends are having a blast right now. I suggest you try it.

The fact that you don’t have any friends to play with doesn’t mean it reflects the experience of other players. I know that for the first time since TBC launched, I could queue some BGs with friends and have genuine fun in PvP, which made us want to play the game more. We don’t have time to grind all day, and it’s nice to be able to get a few games in in the evening before going to bed. Not sure what exactly you would call “coping” but then again, you’re Alliance so logic and reasoning probably aren’t your strong suit. You’d rather be 10 playing your a near-dead game if it meant you would have a slim advantage in PvP, and can keep calling it “unfair” every time you get killed by an Undead.

“It’S tHe RaCiAl MeTa” You guys are funny.

you trying to be condescending without even realizing you’re stating our facts as a false sarcastic lying rebuttal. horde trying to pvp did in fact have over an hour queue time on any given bg on any given day- unless you’re someone with no job or some tryhard that doesn’t sleep, doing more than 1-2 bgs on top of dungeons, questing, farming, and/or raiding simply isn’t realistic. considering most that rolled horde was for old nostalgia, friends, and pvping, you’re basically deleting one of the biggest aspects of the game.

and no, before you and others start the usual “but muh server balance?!”, server balance doesn’t mean dick in the sense of battlegrounds- it’s instanced and takes from all servers, not just your “one-sided”.

Do you morons even read what I’m criticizing before you comment? I was making fun of the guy for saying the hvh bg ques increased dungeon participation

i don’t think it should be implanted. but who cares i am alliance.

but I don’t see a long term downside. long term is the key words here.
once the horde gets there gear. and alliance is nowhere in the pvp servers they cant go out and just kill like they thought they would with the upper hand faster ques.
they will most likely quit out of boredom. since all they do is bg pvp for the gear. its the only way they have fun. they wont want to stay in bg’s when everyone has the same stuff. gear, racials the ugly looks.
that’s why twinks die out when everyone is a twink. you cant one shot kill anymore

so in short. the ques will just eventually be back to 30-1h even with the changes. but hey it is a now fix

if it does last long term than it all works out. just hope people stay subbed to see it

No… some people would just swap faction.

Diehards would remain but I’m sure that some that really are only on horde so they are not farmed in the world like a rare spawn would consider swapping if they knew that the faction balance was locked to a ratio and they wouldn’t face queue times.

It’s ridiculous. This company isn’t going to lock players out unless they take a faction transfer or reroll. No, if I couldn’t access my character as you describe I’d find another game and get a refund, that’s just dumb.

Still doesn’t change the problem which is too many people who wanted to pvp went horde and way less went alliance.

Have you ever tired fighting a undead rogue or mage as warlock without soul-link spec. It’s very strong racial vs 3 different classes. If you think they don’t matter why are the ques so bad it’s almost if all the pvper picked for some reason, even the highest rated glad retail players streamers are playing horde in tbc classic people seem them and pick horde too. Why do you waste my time your being a horde fanatics. It amazes me
that some time you think outnumbering the other team most of time means your more skilled.
